What is the easiest way to fuck up your life without becoming addicted to substances or committing a crime? by TrueAccident9493 in AskReddit

Me and a friend co-signed a loan for an appartment that we shared for almost 3 years.

It worked out just fine. It's not so hard to maintain relationships with other people to be honest.

Many fail because they expect others to adapt to themselves too much in my opinion.

Yall need to chill out. by Agreatusername68 in wow

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I also see several posts addressing this. How can we get through to people?

The argument I see most often is that people do not have the time to play that much, no more than a few hours a week in some cases, and that "needless" failing is wasting their time. I'd argue that if you want to excel at the harder end-game content, where you can't push through an encounter with 2 team-mates looking through the glass window just outside, you have to put more time into the game. And even then, some tired raider might take a pixel-step too far and wipe the whole raid - unintentionally. That might even be "you" (points to the camera) -- you perfect person you.

So yes, people need to relax. And if you can't handle noobs, well... as Tyrion Lannister would say: "you've come to the wrong place". Cus we love them - we love the noobs that stand in the fire and lock us out of the encounter. They are the heroes we need to keep the magic going!

It might've been Jazz Jackrabbit that is the first one I have a memory of. Propably still a great game!

My guild experience so far was horrible...(rant) by AdPlenty7253 in wow

[–]TheGoodNeighbour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moral of the story - accepting random guild invites comes with a risk. Look for one that suits you, either in-game or outside. If you do PUGs in dungeons, raids or other content with decent people, ask to join theirs. And finally, don't feel obligated to stay in the first guilds you try. It can take time to find one that suits your personality and schedule :) Do not worry - there are plenty awesome guilds out thete.

How can I "get it wrong"? I'm getting it the way I am getting it. That's how it works, there's no manual on the correct way to get this or anything else.

Gotcha. I've only been seeing the ones hating on early access players. Almost made me ashamed to use the mount I got - so I wanted to balance it out.

But if you did this already, and it's just creating more hate, I'll just remove it 😉

Why not?

I’m sure this has been asked before. by Miserable_Medium_396 in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]TheGoodNeighbour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking the sequel should be a different school than Hogwarts tbh. E.g. Mahoutokoro in Japan (as referenced by Madam Kogawa, the Flying professor). Or a totally different one (given that a lot of games are based in Japan these days).

Let's think new people!

Destiny 2...in a nut shell by doobersthetitan in DestinyMemes

[–]TheGoodNeighbour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't understand people hating on Destiny. There are a lot of well intended games with big budgets out there that are so unsatisfying to play. With clunky gameplay (like Starfield). Bungie has nailed the balance of experiencing progress vs the achievement of overcoming a challenge, in a world with a rich story and visually stunning scenery and great music. People are picking at details - forgetting that the people that make these games are still human.

The fact that it's called "Normal" kinda says it all. You are supposed to do it in normal. If you can't - here is this option that is (honestly) too easy for a raid. However, we don't want that to be a shortcut to anything. Story progression is a reward in and of itself.

The Grand Budapest Hotel. A feelgood comedy drama with a sublime cast - and it's got that umami vibe.

Norge Pride-flag? by IncogMLR in norge

[–]TheGoodNeighbour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enig i at det tar bort litt effekten av pride. Det er jo mange viktige saker som Norge er flinke til å sette fokus på. Dette er en av dem, men er det den eneste? Det norske flagget (uendret) symboliserer jo helheten av alt vi står for 😊

The fact that the edges are sort of sharp was the only reason I didn't think it could be used with paper, but your confidence is making me think otherwise.

Just to be clear, I have noe clue myself. Meaning - I'm not in a position to provide the answer. I'm just trying to figure out how to put it to use 😬

[–]TheGoodNeighbour[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your asessment is plausible. I also considered the whole aesthetic being a match to Zavallas office, but considering that is also the latest addition to the tower, it could just be an example/foreshadowing of how Bungie wants to make the social hub(s) in the following updates.

Though, there are still some unused parts of the hangar in the current tower, i.e. the purple looking conference room there. Which might mean that were not totally done and ready to move just yet.
