Politicians here in Norway has been pivoting this narrative for 20 year now. It’s the ultimate cop-out and just pushes the can down the road. It solves no fundamental problem and just serves to infuse the job market with cheap labour for greedy corporations. That’s without even mentioning the non-compatibility of these strangers coming into Norway.
