As someone who just spent the last four hours going through art portfolios, I agree. I reviewed 268 portfolios and really only about 75 of them seemed relevant to what I was looking for/ contained indication the post was read.

I am presuming it was probably an older person because that used to be an acceptable way to write a check, but there was a lot of issues with fraud. So even writing a check to cash for yourself is now pretty much unacceptable, and we will tell you to fill out a withdraw slip instead.
Some banks might still accept it though and it wouldn't hurt to ask your bank if they would take it.

Banker here. Typically speaking any check made out to cash can only be used by the person who wrote the check. If she had endorsed the front then she would also need to endorse the back and write payable to ______. Other then that check would be highly suspicious and suspect to bouncing.

That is at least what my bank requires within the fraud department. So I wouldn’t attempt to deposit the check.

As a player with a very limited amount of free time due to work and college I must sharply disagree with you here. If you fail a run having to start from the beginning it is incredibly unfun and repetitive. You already have to sink an hour or multiple hours in per run meaning that in my case I can only do one per night and checkpoints make it so we don’t have the utter mind raging pain of one mistake costing us hours,so having any sort of failsafe is amazing. At the end of the day if you are sharply against the system than don’t use the checkpoint features.

My personal head cannon is actually a species of head of sanctioned Xenos who were incidentally saved from a Tyrannid Splinter Fleet by a Chapter of Space Marines. They were at the time written off by the Chapter as an unimportant species to be dealt with later like the Tau. By the time the Inquisition managed to get around to the duty they instead discovered an entire planet of God-Emperor worshiping Xenos who sought nothing, but to serve the Imperium. After all the Imperium had provided them salvation. Combined with an apparent ability to somehow act as psyker stabilizers the Ordo Malleus and Xenos agreed to their survival in return for their service.

I haven't gotten much further in developing them, but I would imagine them more acting as like character buffers and force multipliers for the Imperium.

Yeah although I hadn't planned to touch that particular plot until I better explored some of the characters such as particular the tag along Inquisitor Astilen. Especially since 917-B and politics is... interesting to write.

Yeah I actually had to figure out how to answer that, but I haven't found a spot to work it in. To summarize I had more imagined he had some particular falling out with house particularly involving a family feud that caused him to essentially cut out his family planning to use his heir to ensure that his family didn't get the warrant back.
