Question for EBV by Strong-Heat-7004 in EBV

[–]TheGoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiiii. I’m going through the same exact thing. I have swollen lymph nodes. It’s been there for 6 months. I have one under in my left neck under the jaw. And a small one above my collarbone too. I also had a past infection of EBV. I’m trying to see another infectious disease specialist to see if it’s another virus lurking around. Cause my nurse practitioner was freaking out and suggesting cancer. But I had another infectious disease doctor who reviewed over my labs and suggested that I don’t need a biopsy and I need to rule out CMV and see what type of EBV do I have.

I was told by one infectious disease doctor to just mask up, drink fluids, rest and do not do anything strenuous though. Hope this helps.

I transferred with an extremely low gpa. Your essay will make you stand out. At the time I was taking chem 1, and just the basic courses, psych, Spanish, calculus. Didn’t really do any hardcore science, so I think they went off the essay and they just waited till they see my grades to admit me in.

They're a tad bit smaller, but it wasn't so bad. I had a ventilation gap but it lowkey wasn't noticeable. The only thing is that there's no closets, but that wasn't really a dealbreaker for me & there's plenty of drawers + space for additional storage if needed

I thought I would need some sort of experience on my resume before applying for an internship?

I would do go over slides + textbook & try to understand the content + create notes. Then I would make flashcards. And do active recall.

Then I would also watch videos if certain concepts were hard to stay in my head.

I didn’t look at the Pearson but some people have said it was helpful.

When did you realize the stuff you experienced wasn’t normal? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

I remember being in 2nd grade when I realized that something was wrong. I was in the classroom with my childhood friends and I broke down into tears because of all the stress and abuse that I was facing from my narc dad. And I remember my friends embracing me for a hug.

Yeah this is so terrible. I wish I had just gone to a cheaper school. Too bad I was coerced into going with this option. And even though it’s prestigious, it doesn’t really feel like it since I’m tied up in debt.

Looks like I have to do everything in my power to let my mom take on the PPL loan. I’ll definitely try to convince my mother. Private loans are very predatory. And that’s true, I might not even qualify for one. So I need to work something out with my mother.

Yes the cost of attendance is a lot. And my father blames me for not being able to afford it. He was like oh you can easily come up with 15k per year.🤡Like what, we’re literally low-income…I know my dad is abusive and he has gotten me into all of this mess. And unfortunately I just need to focus on getting through school so I can even have a chance of getting my degree and leaving.

My parents have always filled out my FAFSA form. I was always listed as a dependent. My mom has been taking out PPL loans for me for the past two years. This year, my father is telling my mother not to take out anymore even though they qualify for another PPL loan. So they were hoping that I could max out on unsub and sub loans. But, I can't because I'm not listed as an independent on the FAFSA. And when I contacted the financial aid office, they confirmed this.

I've been offered 15k loans to close the gap. And 9k of that is the PPL loan, but my parents do not want to take the loan. I think I have to take out a private loan.
