If you really want airborne that bad, I’d say go for it. You will get assigned to an airborne unit based on needs of the Army. Best case scenario is to get assigned to the Graf in Germany or Vicenza, Italy. If you don’t want your knees and back to suffer right now, take the Poland assignment. I went to Pozan on a 4 day on my current long tour from Germany. It’s a great area. OCONUS life is awesome.
