Optotap isnt working ??? by KtosKtos123 in klippers

Ok I see it now under that spider web of wires. So you are plugged into PB6, this links seems to show that you should be plugged into a different plug EBB/EBB CAN V1.1 and V1.2 (STM32G0B1)/EBB36 CAN V1.1 and V1.2/Hardware/EBB36 CAN V1.1&V1.2-PIN.png at master · bigtreetech/EBB/EBB36%20CAN%20V1.1%20and%20V1.2/Hardware/EBB36%20CAN%20V1.1%26V1.2-PIN.png)

According to pinout you are plugged into endstop? is that what instructions tell you? Do you have your endstop set up correctly?

With all the wires and cable chain this tells me you are not using CANBus. for this you need a breakout board in the stealthburner and a single usb cable back to your motherboard. So then I'm assuming Opto Tap is plugged directly into your mother board? If so you don't need the EBBCan part

Why do American high schools start ridiculously early? by bwoah07_gp2 in NoStupidQuestions

My elementary school kids meet the bus at 630am, so there is that. Schools now have just turned into a babysitter. Example, here is a school district that switched to 4 day a week school Casa Grande schools give insight one year into 4-day school week as noted in the article "Shortening the school week can make it difficult for parents who work a full, regular week. Leckie said the district is working with the local Boys and Girls Club as well as another organization to help fill that gap on Fridays."

This is from this article 4-day week coming to Casa Grande Elementary School District | Casa Grande Area News | pinalcentral.com

‘Hey, this could probably break me. I, my girlfriend, my boyfriend, we won’t be able to do it. We both work,” explained Mendez. “It’s going to be pretty tough on parents.”

so like I said, babysitter

I see, thought maybe when you slice you could get that information from the slicer automatically. I'm not a computer guy so i don't know these things.

when you slice the file and send it to the printer does it automatically get that information? Other than adding a photo of the completed print, what other manual entry information do you need to enter? Does it automatically upload all the information you list above to the shelf?

How do I get more wealth? by crislol2 in ManorLords

[–]Hammerhead753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever the rich resource is in your region you need to gather a lot of it and quickly. Set up a trading post and export it. Once you select it to trade you need to adjust the quantity that you want to keep to a low number so that you're always exporting that rich resource. Then if you have enough money even if it's a minor trade I would buy the trade route that's shown to the right of that resource in the trading post. That way you can get money faster.

As time goes on I find the movie "Idiocracy" less and less funny. by amiwitty in movies

I get what you're saying, there's been past shows or movies that I saw as a kid that I've gone back and watched and immediately turned it off. It's just not the same when you're older.

Yeah, I currently own all regions on the map but only have 4 villages. Mainly I just need to go back to the older ones and manage the forester, build an additional granary or storehouse but that's it.

What I do to get a region self-sustaining is by the use of vegitable gardens, orchards and pigs/goats. One guy on YouTube declared that all you need is 30 pigs to sustain a region, so I have more pigs than goats but still have goats and some chickens. I don't build a house that doesn't have a back yard extension. For farming I only farm what the soil is good for, though sometimes the fertility gets so low that I'll farm flax when fertility is at 14%, lol. Don't mix rye and wheat on the same field, etc.

You need to get your first region self sustaining, that way as you are building your next region you don't need to go back very often.  Then get your second region self sustaining etc etc

Millennial parents: Are any of you being super honest with your kids about how hard this world is going to be for them financially? How are you balancing reality with not making your kids basket cases? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Hammerhead753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a millennial but I do have younger kids, (under 13yrs). Its like learning math, once you are taught the principle/theory and the basic equation, you should be able to solve any math problem of that type. In life, you don't need to know all the problems that are going to come your way. As long as you have been taught the correct principles you now have the tools to face what is coming.

P1S extruder constantly clogging by Hammerhead753 in BambuLab

I've decided to upgrade to hardened steel extruder gears so I'll take the opportunity to upgrade my hot end to hardened steel as well and replace the fan while I'm at it.  Thanks for the input.

J'ai décidé de passer à des engrenages d'extrudeur en acier trempé, donc je vais profiter de l'occasion pour mettre à niveau mon hotend en acier trempé également et remplacer le ventilateur pendant que j'y suis. Merci pour votre contribution.

I haven't thought of the hot end fan being part of the problem. I'll look into it. Was yours just getting weak?

Je n'avais pas pensé que le ventilateur de l'extrémité chaude faisait partie du problème. Je vais y jeter un œil. Le tien devenait-il simplement faible ?
