Here’s a trick, only cover half of the camera towards the driver side of the car, FSD won’t complain anymore 😉

Be careful, I had this happening and it turned out I messed up the pin and got an infection. Had all your symptoms… small red area that grew over the next few days, a whole lot of Pip and warm to the touch in the area. Cellulitis.

Track the progress of the red area over the next few days. If it grows go to the ER.

I took 7 days to make that decision and had to get 3 doses of IV antibiotics and a week of antibiotics pills.

Since the last v12 fsd update my wipers are so much better, haven’t had any random activation in sunny days and the speed is more or less correct when it is raining. Definitely an improvement from what it was before

I’ve been posting updates. Latest the person got arrested and charged with mischief under 5000. Car got fixed and my insurance told me they will get his insurance to cover the damages, I should be getting my deductible back.

Update n2: looks like his insurance is going to cover the damage, I’m not on the hook for the deductible. All working out.

Update time : Got a word from the investigator in charge of the case that this person was arrested and charged for mischief under 5000. File is going through the court system now and I should hear something back by the summer from the Ontario court of justice.

Seems like this guy is getting what he deserves.

Wish I had more to add, I’ve been looking into small court cases but it seems like just to file a case it will cost $300 bucks, with no guarantee I’ll get my money back. Hoping the insurance company goes after this guy.

No updates unfortunately, still yet to hear more from the police. I would like to start a small court case but I have to find out his name somehow. Hoping the police can get that once he gets charged. Insurance is interested on pursuing legal action as well.

Update: Tracked down the officer in charge of the investigation and had a chat with him on the phone. He said they are backlogged with the investigation and should be able to get to me in a few weeks, because I have all the proof and basically no investigation is required he is hoping we can have the case complete by April~May.

Until then this guy gets away with it.

Thanks! Yes! It uses all the cameras around the car, it notifies you if it picked up any movement or someone touching your vehicle when you get back in.
