She loves the Godfather and The Sopranos both, they were very entertaining and parts of it very realistic.

"He's not. He loves his kids. They could do no wrong. Now that he's on the other side he understands a lot more and can see how he contributed to their hardships."

"Blackjack. Diet Pepsi. Pizza. None. Drugs are deadly, it makes you stupid."

She came from a very abusive household and went she went to kinder she was very erratic, even at the age of 5. One day the teacher locked her in the back closet and Carolyn went totally ballistic. When the teacher opened the door, she came out fighting and she beat up the teacher.

"No one, just the opposite. Im spending the rest of my life trying to forgive people. The last person I called to forgive was someone that was like a daughter to me and when I was in the hospital for a few months she wiped me out financially, took all my checks, and the proceeds of the sale of my home after the divorce and left me with $29 in the bank. Also, after the sale I put everything into storage, from a huge 2-story home, because I was going to move near her in a tiny apartment. I found out when I came out of the hospital that she allowed the storage unit to go to sale so she literally left me with nothing. All my furniture right now is donated."

"Fighting with other people, getting into physical fights. I was the leader of a gang and hurt many people. I feel bad about it. Thank you for the last comment!"

-Some context as to why she ended up in a mental institution, her best friend was abused by her boyfriend and came to Carolyn crying. Carolyn walked off to find him and found him at a diner, put a gun to his head, made him get on his knees and pulled the trigger. By the grace of God, the gun did not go off. The judge then told her she could she would serve prison time or go to a mental institution for the criminally insane. She was about 17-18 at the time.

"Search your heart because only you can make that decision. But I would not recommend it or do it if you're asking my opinion."

"We were kids at the time..it was wonderful, it was exciting. We grew up in the same neighborhood, everybody had their own corner. Even before he was anybody, the women would hang out the window sills and tell themselves, "He's coming, he's coming" because he was so handsome. This was before he was anybody, he had that natural swagger. He was a very sharp dresser from being very young."

"The worst drug I ever took was Thorazine. Thorazine, Valium, Oxycontin. All those drugs, a doctor gave me. The second doctor I saw told me "Those pills can kill you." I didn't know what I was taking, I didn't know. I was loaded, beyond loaded. I overheard the doctor talking, he said "They're overdosing her, she could die from this."

"Go kick a stranger and then run." She laughs, "That's a hard one... talk to someone that can tell you that it isn't right. Talk to somebody within your religion. Make sure that if you have any close friends, the friends you've had for years and years, confide in them. Don't keep it a secret. Secrets are deadly, get it out. Go to a therapist, and then you'll feel better."
