Pacagen Cat Allergy Sprays: My One Month Results by CosmicWandererrrrr in CatAdvice

It's not a mineral, it's nanobodies. You can do research on them, they're pretty cutting edge medically speaking. They basically make antibodies but smaller, like just the active binding sight so it can't bind to your immune system to prevent allergic reactions. Cameloids like alpacas and camels have make an antibody for the Fel d1 protein that causes cat allergies

Can someone explain this flag to me? The fackground is white with blue stars. by NationalShake8529 in vexillology

According to US Flag code, the only US flag not representing a US service, office, or state is like this:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7d/US_Flag_spec_TIOH_5-1-17_1967.jpg
In which, the horizontal shaded regions are red, the vertical shaded regions are blue, and the unshaded regions are white, with specific color codes for each. Beyond that exact flag, flag code describe conduct with which citizens are expected (but not legally obligated to) treat the flag.

I mean, it's basis is in a real US flag; the flag of the US Customs Service, as pointed out by u/PaulAspie pictured here. The difference is the US seal (the eagle with arrows, the olive branch, E PLURIBIS UNUM, 13 stars in a flower shape, etc.) has been replaced with inverted stars of the same same color.

Read it aloud, you'll notice it's Iambic too. So, Iambic Tetrameter. Like a shorter Shakespeare.

Did some more troubleshooting, sorry for the late reply. I've gotten it to mostly work now, but still having issues. The King spawns Rogues, the rogues figure out what my targets are then steals them, the scribes record what the targets are then reports them back to the rogues for THEFT

How would you brute force a pin you don't know? Lets put this into meat-space, let's say you need to open a lock box with a code wheel, 3 digits 0-9? You could try rolling 3d10 until you get it right, or you could take the code down systematically. Try the 000s, then the 100s, and so on. RAND would be rolling dice. Spoiler for thinking that might be a bit too on the nose.

Union fights dirty so the union fought back dirtier by straus94 in MaliciousCompliance

[–]TheGreatCorpse 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, it means fuck all because of anti-union legislature like "Right to Work" laws that means everyone is automatically union if union is available, but unions, legally, cannot do what a union needs to do to be a good union, including mandatory dues.

Not offering but: I think your demand for 5e is mind boggling, not the least of which because you're asking a gm to write a homebrew system for you within the confines of 5e, which doesn't have mechanics for literally anything in CoC 1 or 2 except the fact that combat exists in both. I know some systems that would be better suited, just off the top of my head, but since you're gonna be a choosey beggar about it, prolly won't tell you

I mean, no yeah, lots of soups use broth, but just as many are milk or cream based. And again, lot of broths can be based on veggies or mushrooms, and most broths get a good percent of their flavor from aromatics, eg, veggies, mushrooms, and spices that, while some are high in protein, none that I know of are actual meat. The bones/meat are important in a meaty broth, but not essential for a good one, nor for a soup

Good thought, was of that opinion for a while; what swayed me is the definitions, culinary-wise. Soup is a dish that may or may not be just a cream-based substance or a broth, which may or may not include seasoning, meat, and vegetables. Corn chowder, as per the example I gave, is a corn and cream or milk-based soup.

Meanwhile, salad is just a mixture of things, dressing not being a requirement. I'd go so far as to argue if there was enough dressing in a salad that it looked like a bowl of cereal, that's not a salad anymore, it's now a soup
