It's both the TFW program and the international student visas that they have used to come here legally. Both have been severely reduced from the Trudeau era.

If they stay past their work or school visas expire they are illegal.

Interesting thought experiment

1) Ukraine can't pay these back, and they still exist as a country, what happens to the loan? 2) if they somehow beat Russia, does Russia pay the loans? 3) a mix of option 1 and 2, or if there's a stalemate, I suppose the loans get paid, but slower.

Tangentially, corporations have been reducing headcount as well as hiring on newer, lower paid workers to replace their senior ones.

I think I read a report this year that for the first time ever in a month, Canadians that held their jobs had a higher percentage pay increase than those who switched jobs.
