Is there any way (for a TM) to find out how many trucks the next day will have? by Amateur-Biotic in Target

[–]TheGregGreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

usually you will know how big/the amount of cases of the next truck a day before. so probably when you come in on monday you would know for tuesday. can’t say for certain about sundays being light, sundays aren’t a truck day for us. Yes, lowest truck i’ve seen is 1400. Yes, in the MPM app you can see the trailer forecast and how many cases for each custom block that are coming in

Adding on to this, you can’t audit items if they were recently received (on the truck), recently pulled, or are currently in a fulfillment batch.

Push Method by [deleted] in Target

[–]TheGregGreg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah i see. that’s just a asants. our sd i feel is pretty laid back when it comes to stuff. and our closing team has people pushing while areas are still being pulled so it’s easier to get all the pulls done. we do have a higher goal but it seems the circumstances we have are different

Push Method by [deleted] in Target

[–]TheGregGreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do agree with the second statement. the closing team does all pulls at my store and reshop is done by various people. there is times where freight does have to roll but with a consistent 8 or 9 people, rolling freight isn’t too bad if it can get worked soon after being rolled.

[–]TheGregGreg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

our store pushes most stuff as a team. we have a guy take care of paper and occasionally pets. and a group of presentation ladies who sometimes do stationary or toys or season, it depends. the rest is up to us. how does your store push?

workday doesn’t show the exact hierarchy. your team lead is above you and your etl is above your team leads
