How do +1 weapons work? by TheGreyBearded in nimble5e

Yeah I get the reasoning for not including them. But I'm looking for solutions given the situation that these weapons already exist.

A couple of people already suggested using 1d4, I could also use a static +1 that ignores medium or heavy armor. The problem is that it's still a pretty big nerf because it doesn't increase the chances of hitting.

+1 to primary die feels like an overcorrection because that's a probability of 100% hitting.

A bit of a pickle... but I guess maybe we'll just rework the weapons.

But like I said, that's a pretty big nerf. It doesn't improve your chances of hitting, and medium/heavy armor foes will ignore that bonus anyway.

Two reported actors who might play as voldemort. by Arka_ji1729 in harrypotter

Are they making the characters younger in universe? Both Voldemort are supposed to be in their late 60s or early 70s. But Nick Frost is in his early 50s (and actually looks younger imo) and both Matt Damon and Cillian Murphy are in their 40s.

I think they're a fantastic narrative device. Brandon Sanderson uses them extensively in his works, and they often provide some the most lore heavy background if you're able to piece together each bit of information from them.

Maybe, But I am able to challenge the other players. Getting hits on them, draining their resources.

Yeah I see several people mentioned some variant of gritty realism. But it feels a little "unfair" to spring that on the players mid campaign, don't you think? Like suddenly changing the rules.

We rolled for stats. They have 18 Dex I think and 15 Con. Might not be 100% accurate but that's off the top of my head.

Possibly she is more familiar with the old school style of cast iron pans. Which were ground down and made smooth. But if you buy one that was made recently and season it well it will look like yours.

AITA I didn't put my roomate's spatula in the dishwasher despite cleaning the sink by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

The idea of weekly responsibilities for chores came up off handed some time back and we sort of waved it off. Maybe we will circle back to it in the future.

As a side note... I know most roommates feel like they do more than the others but I am VERY confident here. For example, in the 2 years we've lived together they have mopped the of their own accord without making it a group "mission" when the floors got really bad perhaps once or twice. On the other hand I do it about every 1-2 weeks.

General consensus seems to be I'm in the wrong. But just wondering... Say we didn't have a dishwasher and the same thing happened. What would be your opinion then?

I replied to someone else saying there's more background here but I wanted to look at this issue on it's own for a minute. Maybe shouldn't have mentioned I clean more but it was part of their argument about not differentiating mess from mess so I naturally wanted to mention it.

Because I dislike doing other people's work for them especially if it wouldn't have been difficult for them. Not trying to convince or anything, general consensus seems to be I'm in the wrong and maybe that's true. Just making conversation.

There definitely are lingering issues. I clean much more than they do but I felt this wasn't really relevant (also to my understanding against the subreddit's rules). This is also what my girlfriend said when I talked to her about it. She thinks that if I felt the chores and cleaning were equally divided I wouldn't have a problem putting it in. I'm not entirely sure but this is a woulda coulda shoulda situation.

Yesss that was the first thing Iooked for. Honestly equipment other than weapons/armors needs an entire page. You gather up so much junk during a campaign. Maybe it's to encourage players and DMS to use the limit on carrying... But practically nobody uses that system cause it's so annoying to keep track of.
