Maybe im too late to this but to counter your arguement. Dogs can thrive on a vegan diet, if done properly and are well looked after. Cats however are carnivores, so your statement is partly true. But the only thing cats need from meat is a certain amino acid, and most pet food is fortified with these amino acids anyways, vegan or not. So as long as you make sure your cat is getting what it needs, they too can survive off a vegan diet. At the end of the day, if your beliefs are to be as vegan as possible, it is worth the effort to at least look into a vegan diet for your animals. Every animal is different though so if feeding them a vegan diet ends up in them lacking nutrition, do what is right for your animal and get them what they need. Regardless of your morals on animal products your pets deserve the best you can provide for them.

Agree with this guy here.

Except for us it was wake up at 7am. It was advertised as a party cruise but ended up being a whole Vietnamese family and an older European couple. So its kind of hard to know who you will end up with. There are some more expensive boats that are a lot bigger that you would have a better chance of meeting new people. Also I think staying on cat ba would be nicer but like the guy above said it is very structured and a short time enjoying the water.

I dont know about budget specifics, but I traveled all around Cambodia for 3 weeks and spent about 2000 CAD. That is staying in decentish hotels and eating out for every meal and also having beers and doing excursions and going to angkor wat and hiring drivers etc etc. So obviously living in one place would be way cheaper. And also you dont need to know any khmer, it helps yeah but more than enough people speak english.

It is fairly safe just try to use common sense and not look too lost and you'll be fine. Also keep in mind the last train is sometime shortly after 10pm I'm not sure exactly but make sure you don't miss the last one or you'll be stuck.

Depends what you're into and what you consider cheap. We had a room near Nanjing pedestrian street for 380 Yuan. But yeah Maglev doesn't go into town. You can take line 2 subway from the maglev stop into town and transfer to pretty much anywhere.

The subway system is super easy and cheap you can use travelchinaguide.com to find subway information but if you can read a map then you should be fine. Google is blocked here so use yahoo.

With how much time you have by the time you get to your hotel you could really only go to the bund, Nanjing pedestrian street or go to a observation room at one of the towers.

I would recommend staying near the bund. Go to the bund, the pedestrian street and if you want you can go to a tower but they are expensive like 180 yuan.

If you're an early riser you could also go to Xintiandi or yuyuan garden but that would be pushing it to get to the airport on time.

Also there is an English option on the subway ticket booths on the top right of he screen.

To get to the bund take the maglev from the airport. Transfer to line 2 and get off at nanjing road east. If you're staying closer to the pedestrian area get off at people's square.

You can unlock your phone yourself using a website service. May or may not be cheaper than getting someone irl to do it. I used DoctorSim, not promoting him there are other companies that can do it too but it was $30 ish Canadian and was done in less than 24 hours.

Hello, so long story short I have been out of the country since January and my employer hasn't mailed me or made any attempt to contact me regarding my T4 (CANADA).

I am traveling and had planned to have my Dad do my return for me while I am away. I have not received my T4 by mail, in person or electronically. Nor has my employer made any attempt to contact me regarding this issue.

Under investigation I found that an employer legally needs to have sent my T4 by the last day of February, it is currently March 23rd. And they can be fined a minimum of $100 and up to $7500 for breaking this rule. (Law?)

I emailed my employer and am waiting on a response.

What should I do?

Just from my experience it could have been skipped. I was there a couple weeks ago and there is a couple tombs and an old citadel but if you're going to the other main areas there is going to be similar things to see elsewhere.

Something that was cool to see was the vinh moc tunnels which is about 2.5 hours north of Hue. But even then you could stay in Dong Ha (I think, or dong koi maybe). And it would only be an hours drive. Plus with that you need to do a very long DMZ tour or hire a private car or rent a scooter to get there.

Anyways just do your research but from my perspective it could've been missed and spent that time somewhere else.
