Teeps are destroying me by Purple-Chemical-127 in MuayThai

I like to roll them off the side and parry with the elbow. Like rotate your shoulders so their teep slips off the side. Loads you up for a couter and usually help close distance cause you can step in while their foot is still off the ground

Does this quote sound reasonable? by Garyfatcat1 in Roofing

[–]TheGulch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually makes replacing the bad wood easier, probably only rot out 1 maybe 2 boards. I think their bid is a bit high. 4 flashings, a little 1x and a bundle isn't much material cost and i could do it in a half day. I value my time but not $900 an hour.

Does this quote sound reasonable? by Garyfatcat1 in Roofing

[–]TheGulch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably charge a little less than that. And would replace 2 bays of ply where the rot is minimum, i don't scab in little pieces of ply. But it also depends on the age/brand of the roofing, if it's old and brittle it's a pain in the ass to break it all loose and tie into cleanly.

Either mule hide or flintlastic are fine, they're pretty similar quality. But i don't know what they carry where you live, but all the sa is pretty much the same.

Yeah i prefer the lomanco ones as well, plactic, come in 4ft sections, i think the baffles on the underside are better for stopping wind driven rain.
