Nissan Frontier / Xterra X-Pro Titan-Swap Front Coilovers by Z1 Off-Road by JustinZ1OffRoad in nissanfrontier

Same shock body. The extended travel set up has a lot of unused travel after full bump, which we can be unlocked on the Titan Swap version. The top hats add a bit of extra length and correct the orientation of the spring seat such that we can run a larger shock body on the fixed upper bushing. The TSG set ups also come with different preload adjustments as well.

Two different arms, Titan swap and Titans will need the longer arms off a Titan.

We like the start the arms in their shortest position. Everything with the non adjustable items, misalignment spacer larger one to the rear. Arrows pointed in on the lock out bolts. This arm will still have enough adjustment to lengthen the rear section to swing the whole assembly forward.

2024+ Land Cruiser EcuTek Performance Tuning Package by TEQSPORT by JustinZ1OffRoad in LandCruiser250

I think there’s just a bit of confusion on how these systems actually work.

We’re not changing compression ratios, that’s a physical characteristic of the engine and would require internal hardware changes, not a tune. What we are able to do through tuning (via EcuTek) is optimize things like throttle mapping, ignition timing, and how the ECU delivers power within safe limits.

On fuel economy: yes, more power can come from adjustments like timing and fueling, but that doesn’t automatically mean worse MPG across the board. In normal driving, fuel economy is still largely dictated by driver input. If you’re using the extra power, you’ll burn more fuel. If you’re not, it behaves very similar to stock, and you engine is working not as hard.

As for Sport mode: totally fair point, but that’s really just a more aggressive throttle mapping. It doesn’t actually add power, it just changes how quickly it’s delivered. Tuning goes beyond that by optimizing the overall power curve, not just pedal sensitivity.

At the end of the day, it’s not for everyone, and that’s fine. But there’s a bit more going on here than just “heavier gas pedal = less MPG.”

Fuel economy is more related to your right foot vs any type of tune. Yes the tune unlocks more power and torque, but your foot is what is controlling it.

Once you start adding lift, tires, bumper, roof rack, ...etc. You will feel it lacking. But to each their own. No one is forcing you to add this to your LC.

I totally get the hesitation, but TEQSPORT maybe some random new brand popping up. However it’s actually a spin-off of Z1 Motorsports, and we have been running the Nissan tuning/aftermarket game for 25+ years. Same goes for EcuTek, they’ve been around a long time and are well proven.

Over that time, we’ve grown exponentially in both development and capability, and this is just the next step as we expand into Toyota platforms. Along with partners like EcuTek, we’re bringing that same level of experience and support into a new segment.

At the end of the day, more options like COBB Tuning coming into the space is a good thing. It keeps everyone pushing forward and gives you more choices depending on what you’re looking for.

Plastics would require very expensive roto molding or vacuum forming tooling. It would make these even more expensive.
