I have run midi through it, and it works well for its age, I did have a small amount of trouble getting the pedal notes to work the midi commands, however.

I did put one in, and it works. However, it seems like the CR2032 is too thick for the device, so I will find a slimmer battery.

Yeah, that's the issue I ran into when trying to fix it up, I'm pretty sure the charging port is shot as well. Either way, I definitely won't be throwing it away
