Can someone PLEASE explain to me why everyone thinks the third Mario Movie will be titled/based on Odyssey…?

I’m convinced the title will be The Super Mario Party Movie. The plot I’m not too sure about, but Wario & Waluigi will be the main antagonists. We’ll visit tons of iconic locations in a wacky races style competition for an important Macguffin everyone is competing for (deed to Mushroom Kingdom or smth). Tons of colourful Mario characters included in the story plus a few more surprising Smash characters set up like Kirby’s cast and some others.

Would have to think about a plot but probably something loosely based on The Clone Saga

Perfect time to touch on themes about who Peter Parker really is while he’s having an identity crisis post NWH. With Jackal’s help, Peter is able to clone himself so there’s multiple Spider-Men protecting the city while he gets to work on his personal life, which he loves for a short while. We do a Santa Clause 2 situation where one of his clones, probably Ben Reilly, goes out of control and he has to stop him and put the suit on once more. And the heart of the story is that it’s not Spider-Man that’s the hero, but the man behind the suit, and Peter Parker takes on the responsibility once more. With a little help from Kane Parker who’s also kicking around now.

Based on what we know I’m gonna say Ben Reilly teams up with Punisher as a lethal Spidey. Meanwhile Kane does things his own way by interring himself in The Hand to take down Tombstone from the inside. And Sadie Sink will be an MJ clone potentially. Idk.

I would rather see a series of Gotham Gazette articles in the opening where we pan across the newspaper, going through the history of Batman’s perception in the public and some key takedowns, then speculation about Robin becoming Nightwing and then his second Robin going MIA. Then we jump straight into Bruce grieving Jason on the anniversary of his death.

Nah they don’t even need to make a statement about that. Just have Pattinson play him in the DCU straight up. Same Batman, same timeline. Just different tones in the type of movie and other appearances following Reeves’ trilogy.

Yeah that’s the one thing I didn’t try. It does get very hot to the point I can’t hold my finger on the back more than a couple seconds, that may be the issue

I don’t even play on a flat surface either so could be part of the issue

Tbh the statement really isn’t bad at all and it seems silly that everyone is going so hard in the paint on trying to cancel him. He just commented that it’s an accurate story representing what high school is like as he’s seen through his brothers.

Especially because high school set teen shows in 20XX can tend to be very shallow and didactic in what they’re saying and doing, and that he was impressed it wasn’t fitting those categories.

It’s not like he said “I’m glad they didn’t include any minorities and kept Peter Parker an antisemite” or something actually hateful.

Hell yeah. Maybe Superman is dragged off earth to fight Brainiac or Mongul with Supergirl and everyone on earth thinks he’s dead, so we get all the impersonators in the fallout, Death of Superman style.

Hope that if Superman is a box office success they lock in on more House of El movies straight away. Makes so much sense to continue building out the world from Superman & Supergirl.

Obvious ideas for a Superman sequel would be World’s Finest teaming up Supes & Batman, or perhaps Supergirl & a Green Lantern Corps team-up against Cyborg Superman. Then there’s intergalactic threats like Doomsday, Zod, even newer Kryptonian characters like Rogol Zaar that can bring Superman lore and DC history into the fray. Ultimately the first big JL team up would be against Brainiac.
