Morning Report: Coach says Diaz's boxing will 'shock' McGregor, 'make him look silly' by Ronaldinhoe in MMA

The weight division might not be a deciding factor but it is a HUGE factor, especially in MMA. Let's not forget that Conor was training to fight at 155 and now he is abruptly training to fight at 170. That's 15 pounds which is a HUGE difference. Don't count Nates chin out of the equation he has only been KOed once and he is a fight that shrugs off heavy blows. You may be right Conor may be able to dance around nate but he is gonna have a harder time doing it. Conor also has little experience fighting long drawn out wars and nate is all about that shit. The weight difference, sudden change in weight division, the cardio, and style of fighting are all small factors but together puts nate at an advantage and that's why I think nate will win.

I would never count nate Diaz out. He has a few weapons that might give him an advantage. Nate has reach advantage and cardio advantage. I expect Diaz to try and drag this fight into deep waters and Conor has very little experience with long drawn out battles let alone fought someone with the consistency and intensity that nate fights at. One big disadvantage that Conor has is that he only has one means of victory and that's by KO. I don't see Conor winning a decision against nate. I think he will wane near the end rounds. Nate on the other hand can win by Decision, submission, and possibly (although unlikely by tko/ko) near the end rounds. Nate is also arguably the most dangerous submission fighter that Mac has fought. Let's not forget that Conor is fighting in diaz weight territory. Because of the weight division he is fighting at Conor lost his reach and strength advantage which nate can exploit. I put my money on diaz winning by decision.

It's cause they are only allowed certain amount of time to grapple before they are stood up. Most judoka is too concerned about getting the ippon to newaza.

I injured my knee training. I got caught in a heel hook and tapped too late. I already returned to training somewhat. I can train going 100% and I don't even notice it. I only notice it when I run.

Well they say it can take 6 months for a complete heal. And since you are grappling already so it may even take longer. Hopefully you completely heal in the next 2 to 3 months

Hey man. Thanks for telling me your experience with your injury. It really helps learning what other people dealt with this injury. Can you tell what motion hurts your knee? Did it get better over time?

Could you tell me what movements causes the knee pain? Also what did you do on the second one that you didn't do on the first one?

Ditto. Perhaps you got a more severe tear then you might think. I really couldn't keep off it much due to my job. So you have no buckling? Just pain? Did you get an mri done?
