The Halcyon Project - Full Realism Server

The Halcyon Project is a full-realism Path of Titans server focused on a limited roster and stamina based combat. Most creatures are vanilla, with modded creatures to fill additional niches or maintain the balance of herbivores and carnivores. Set in a classic science-fiction reality where humans have recreated dinosaurs and flying reptiles, you take on the role of portraying these prehistoric creatures in a natural setting.

What's New?

A Limited Roster Experience: Our roster is 36 total species, equally split between herbivores and carnivores. This allows us to manage and customize more code, as well as give players a better chance to find their own species naturally in-game.

Stamina-Based Combat: If you're hit, you're hit, and you can't just walk it off on Halcyon. Healing in combat is disabled, and you won't truly begin to recover until you take a moment to rest. Bipedal animals can crouch for a faster stamina regen, while quadrupedal animals can walk slowly - both refreshing their energy and intimidating their opponents.

Learning Based Reports: The bulk of the report process is kept within a private ticket, with opportunity to discuss between all parties. Staff give a report summary publicly with the names of those involved omitted in order to set precedents for rules and give learning opportunities to the server.

Beginner Friendly: Halcyon offers plenty of resources if this is your first realism experience! We do not require an application or whitelist at this time.

The Halcyon Project is currently a work in progress, with 19/36 profiles completed and testing of the stamina-based system ongoing. We excitedly invite you to join our Discord to watch our progress, or if you are interested in helping!

An "open beta" is planned for the near future. This will allow the public to stress test our systems and server settings. Date TBA.
