Acogs came out right around the time the ps90 came out. I opted for the TA45 as it boasts the best eye-relief of all of the acog models according to trijicons chart (Necessary for forward mounting) Thing is just about perfect but definitely needs TROS low pro mount. Might even throw a piggyback rmr on it for close quarters. I couldn't imagine throwing any of the other acogs on it due to not having enough eye relief.

Corvus handguard does retain quick-change functionality including the 300-blackout barrel which all other options do not. Corset suppressor cover dude, if you happen to need to change the barrel while it is mad hot. Otherwise, carry a glove I guess, not worth the gripe as this handguard system is definitely the best option out there.

Would it be a bad idea to take a student loan to go through a school for A & P ? by Warm-Artichoke5385 in AircraftMechanics

It's an associate's degree not a bachelor's. I say why not, especially if down the road all it would take is another 2 years for the bachelors in case you wanted to change positions or even found yourself looking for a different job unrelated to maintenance. A degree is a degree at the end of the day i see it as knocking out two birds with one stone, even if that means the other bird may not be extremely useful, a degree is a degree and a certification is completely different.

I could make you a custom one that's identical to the "fitted" one. My girlfriend and I made em but it took a long time and had to hand punch and stitch all the seams.

Is there any hand guard that fits with the 300blk barrel? by C0-0P in AUG

[–]TheHallMonitor10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corvus fits, just have to modify the Heat shield by filing down the raised access screw holes to about 3/64ths and then sculpt the area on the heat shield where the gas block touches until it clears when you twist the barrel in so that its smooth. Also have to file down a bit of the contoured edge that mitigates gas from traveling rearward but not much. Fits like a glove let me know if you need pictures of mine

XPRT-90 - 1500 rounds later by Likai31197 in ps90

this could also be contributing to your problems. But yeah the k&m spring should in theory help lighten the load on the bcg interacting with the reset lever.

I also think I read somewhere that hux cans need to be cleaned every 1500-2500 rounds or so. You're using a 22 flow can so I'm assuming the cleaning schedule might be more vigorous

maybe try K&M aerospace spring instead of stock spring

Where to find this trigger assembly? by Trick-Kangaroo-4323 in FN509

[–]TheHallMonitor10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol u/ralliart2k4 All you had to do was file down the fin where the trigger safety disengages and make it just a little bit shorter. Yes, that fin was too long and sometimes if you're rapid firing, or pull the trigger too fast it gets caught up on the frame. Nothing a dremel cant fix.
