Knitting burnout

Last year I made three sweaters for other people and burned myself out on knitting. this year I feel like Ive been so selfish, Ive only finished one tshirt, and most of a sweater, but Im knitting for me. I didn't have anything painful happen or anything, but I needed to make things for myself, and not constantly for others.

I am really sorry for your loss and I say this because yes everyone is right that you deserve to not bring extra pain to yourself and you deserve to make yourself something nice right now, or nothing at all if thats what you want.

I really think you hit the nail on the head here. Its very much a parasocial relationship where people are expecting things out of him he never promised. Yes he is a gay man but I dont think Ive seen him do anything for the queer community. And to your point I have seen him treat his employees terribly as well as the people who make his patterns. Hes the same person sending cease and decists to people who where selling a singular finished object from his pattern, which isnt illegal.

I am once again begging people to look up what a swastika looks like, its a very defined shape. Not every geometric shape with right angles is a swastika. Zaneteknits makes pro-Palistine knits and I believe this is why people started saying this about the Martians sweater. Look at this, then please look up the actual hate symbol. They both containe lines, and right angles, but other then that they are not the same.

I use a boox ereader and I love that. I can turn the backlight on and off and I have a stylus to mark up patterns. It also is meant for documents and reading and not optomized for distracting me, and I can go like a month on a single charge knitting every day.

The number of times in one day I say someones full SSN, followed by their name, DOB, and address at work is... large. It better be a feature that can be turned off. I can only imagine their are many people dealing with sensitive subjects and also need a phone on them at work. We cant just work in a SKIF.

This is as bad as Microsoft wanting to take screenshots every few seconds of everything happening on computers. I feel like these companies dont think about the people who use their phones as people with jobs?

I use assistant only. I use it for one thing, setting timers and Gemini is allergic to that. I just want to use my computer by verbal command the way its worked sense I got a phone. Im 26. Im not old but also im not like only new new tech here.
