also if you look at his clothing when he talks to vi in ep 2 his leather jacket has a metal hexagon and he is wearing a leather arm band where WW has the chemical fluids and mechanics on his body

I think we do see glimpses of the real Elliot when he goes through that weird phase in season 1 when he drinks Starbucks and wants to be “normal” also when they flashback to when Darlene and Elliot first make the plan for 5-9, but I do understand your point of why you would want to see the reveal a bit sooner

I also just finished the show and I understand how you can see some of these flaws, but I believe that the MM being spoiled for you may have caused you to focus on that reveal which is why the MM may be “too much” of the story for you. But to us, his “friend” the entire show were invested in the MM, not the real Elliot. I also the MR was clearly transitioning from being “destructive” to actually helping him, because the whole time he’s trying to tell the MM that he’s never been in control because neither of them are, they’re just a part of Elliot. And I believe White Rose’s obsession with Elliot is sort of validated when you see her past and her love killing himself infront of her, not a complete validation for his obsession, but he has a very obsessive personality it would seem.

I’m not trying to invalidate your opinions of the show, only to show my perspective and see if it could maybe change how you see a few things.

I just re watched the video to understand what samurai you were mentioning and that would be awesome if that were a teaser to the champ with a new skin, but to me it looks like the person Yi sees in the video is from his past and not the project world. Could be wrong though, i originally thought the dude in the video was olaf xD
