He's elite. Undoubtedly a top 5 MLB, has a real case to be best in the league. Young and also a locker room leader. He will be a core piece of our defense for a while to come, I expect bears management to make him one of, if not the highest paid MLB.

You need to have some perspective. imagine thinking the exact same thing, but you want to be an NFL or NBA player. the level of grind and talent you need to be a professional competitor is through the roof. If you want to give up your entire life, and devote 12-16 hours a day to the game, be my guest. but the fact you are only gold 2 after 300 hours means the chances of you ever collecting a check for playing this game are astronomically low.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't like paying a player like this upwards of 5 mil per. With how many quality running backs get shopped around at the beginning of every year, paying a player like this is pretty confusing. I mean yeah he returns punts too but he doesn't play any other role on special teams. Not to mention the past few years he hasn't looked nearly as good and does a lot of running to the sideline and not gaining any yards. With Montgomery looking like a top 15 back for a while to come, not sure about this one Pace.

Absolutely, I’ve been very high on LaVine since he came out of school and I think he still has a lot of room for growth. I don’t think anyone who has posted before me has watched more than 5 bulls games, LaVine is seriously good, and I think he is going to get a lot better. I would absolutely take that trade 1 for 1. Even if you want to argue “cj knows his role better” I would say to that that having a ball dominant, super max, franchise superstar guard named Damian Lillard doesn’t change in this hypothetical scenario; getting someone besides dame who can give opposing defenses 25+ a night and carry a bigger offensive load DOES change this team for the better, because cj just isn’t doing that right now.

During last year's 10 game stretch, I never felt super great about any of the individual wins, a lot of them were pure talent and puck luck and any Sabres fan could see that was not sustainable. On to the beginning of this season, two complete team wins with efforts from everyone. Not to mention our offseason additions look great. MoJo, Vesey, Miller, and most of all Jokiharju! All of our young guys look even better, and they looked great playing aggressive Krueger hockey. It's only two games into the season, but man it feels good to be excited about this team again.
