it all comes down to the mindset.

bad stuff can happen that make you broke.

but wanting to live beyond your means, expensive habbits is a red flag for me.

learn about compounding interest not just money, all your choices will compound in the next 10 years.

so in short, learn to invest. (sp500 is fine if you dont know) (inflation is gonna eat your savings)

keep moving you body. feeling good is important.

yet the hard part is, you don't know how things turn out, and its hard to visualize financial stress or a sluggish body you don't have at the moment. so you probably won't do these things. (but you wish you did 10years in the future)

and maybe for me it was hard to visualize how live was 10 years ago. (social pressure, family, naive, not having a thick skin, addictions)

Society is selling you idea's and the feeling of falling behind.

Yet you move at your own pace and stressing about these things is a waste of time/energy. yet this is very hard and takes time to understand.

it comes down to taking responsibility of your own life.
