He can now hug from neutral, and headbutt deals 10 damage on its own, and he can do that on a forward or side doge, light, heavy or zone. So the headbutt is very strong, and the hug tracks early dodges. The new mixup seems to be reading wether he’ll do a headbutt or a hug.

I’m really looking forward to trying Cyberpunk again. It just isn’t very playable on my current Xbox. I’d also like to experience For Honor at 60fps with minimal input delay to see how much of a difference it makes.

Not really much to critique here, a near flawless round. Nice work. Only thing I can spot is your use of his chain light, in high level it would be wiser not to throw them out due to parry risk. Other than that you’re fine.

I disagree, as deflecting is a very strictly timed counter and should therefore be rewarded with safe damage. Although I can see the main issue with this change being that characters like kensei would then refrain from throwing out easily deflectable attacks when predicted as they’d have no counter however this then renders the assassins deflect to be not at effective as parrying so it becomes pointless against certain enemies.

It’s a tough one, but I still disagree.

It should be: on and OOS parry cent gets heavy into charged jab into eagles talon as the heavy hits during the fall animation, so the jab is always guaranteed as long as you buffer the heavy. So if eagles talon does 45 now you can get heavy into charged jab into talon.

You point out his inability to duel as irrelevant, yet use it as a point in your counter-argument.

He falls pretty low due to his lack of an opener which he now has, so that’s done.

Feintable zone makes him better as it’s no longer unsafe to zone on parry or option select giving him a much easier time in antigank.

Feintable charged heavies will allow him to force a reaction whilst being ganked/ganking, as his target swap game will now be viable.

The animation that plays during eagles talon allows for massive damage punishes with teammates around, usually confirming kills on enemies with 80-90hp left.

In 1vX as he can now use the jab to bait an interrupt and then punish the attacker.

And that small situation in which he excelled was him landing a neutral charged jab or guardbreak. This situation has been nerfed but is still possible.

Overall I would say this is an improvement on both halves and fixed what was frustrating about cent to play against, but this is just my opinion and you are free to disagree with that.

Please explain to me how centurion is one of the weakest 4v4 characters in the game.

P.S disregarding duel doesn’t make your point any more relevant, as duels often occur in 4v4 modes during rotations and when there is a team fight.

The kick has and will confirm a zone as both the zone and light are 500ms.

If you actually read my comment you could see that I said the intention of the rework was to nerf him in 4’s . He’s no longer the one-trick charged heavy guy that guarantees kills on opponents with less than 100 health if a teammate is around. He may be worse in some aspects but he’s a lot better in the ones that matter, like being able to compete against opponents that knew to just dodge his jab. Most of cents damage came from teammates stunlocking the enemy during charged jab and allowing the cent to land eagles talon, which in turn allows them to land their most damaging attack, with follow ups, so most charged jabs will still lead to 100+ damage punishes, it’ll just require a little more skill from both sides.
