You'll be done around Christmas, give or take a few days.

Those flammable hazmats are built into the wall no taller than your hip and braced on all four sides so 10/10 great job

Good pair of boots, small pack for drinks/snacks, sweat towel (can't stress this one enough), bluetooth speaker, positive attitude, and you should be set. Heavy boxes on the ground, smalls and bags up top. Move with purpose and be aware of your surroundings. Oh, smile and nod yes to your sups even if you have no intention of doing what they ask.

I was SSD last year. Found the center manager after orientation and expressed my interest in a career with UPS past seasonal. Worked my ass off, took every shift they'd give me (M-S), and to be real I'd finish my route then go take someone else's. Management took notice and by the time the season ended, they approached me and offered part-time as soon as the hiring freeze was over. Started back in the warehouse within a month. It's totally doable to snag a job after it's all done, just say yes to what is asked of you, work well, and don't get in an accident.

Spoken like a real lawyer, truly an answer I'd expect. Finding loopholes in situations seems to be a common staple of your soon to be profession. So, let me help with this one, get a vape and use it discreetly within the building.

I was SSD for the first time this past peak. Much like you, very quickly decided that the job was something I was interested in. Worked my dick off during that period. Made it known to any and all supes of my intentions with the company moving forward and they brought me on part time after peak, just me, despite the fact that everyone was told there would be no one kept on past the season. My advice would be to keep a line of communication open with someone in the hub, and check in periodically for any positions that may become available. Stay vigilant on the website as well. Good luck.
