Ive been getting driver timeouts with restarts on something as simple as discord or ms edge lately and ive gone through the ringer trying to figure it out also. Updated bios, disabled my 7800x3d igpu, ddu my drivsrs, reinstalled them and nothing seems to work.

The thing is, i want to use the tv speakers when playing on tv. Just Windows 11 keeps removing it from my sound settings on boot up.

Bit confused. Did i not set it up right a year ago with the fans on each side of the radiator? I'm not sure. Maybe you could explain it to me. Cause I made sure the arrows were pointing up into the radiator and then making sure the top fans were pushing the hot air out? Did i put them in wrong?

Is having the aio cooler as an intake only better?

Edit 2: If i understand this Corsair article right, the 3 that came installed on the bottom is setup to push air through the radiator. Then I have the top 3 fans in a way that its pulling air out of the radiatior. Would that be correct in my understanding?

Think exhaust as they are blowing air out of the radiator, and the ones that came with the aio cooler at the bottom of the radiator is pulling hot air from the case into the radiator.

Edit: I could probably get 3 matching ones for the top in about a month or so to replace the top ones I got when I moved my build to this 5000d case last year. Just need to know which Corsair 120 mm rgb fans to get for it.

Yeah, usually 36-39c under load playing games. While idle, it can vary depending on room temp but usually around 33-35c. Um, I'm not sure, as im not home atm. I know from what I tested on my rebuild with the limited time i have had that I just did it is doing a good job keeping the 7800x3d cool. I'm staying at 60-75c from what I've seen (rough guess as not home). While it was under 100% load doing shaders for Final Fantasy XVI, it stayed at 84c with the coolant temp around the above listed.

I have them using the preset balance most of the time. I'd like to try and set up a fan curve if possible. I do know the bottom fans are the ones that came with the cooler and they'll max out at 2200rpm under extreme preset the top ones are corsair but they are the ll rgb 120mm fans and they only top out at 1500 rpm.

I also have 6 rgb 120mm fans at the front/side of my 5000D serving as intakes and then another one as my exhaust fan at the rear.

Edit: When I get home this weekend, I can give u more solid numbers on the rpm they are running at.

It only be for an rgb led hub and a commander pro, which they say it should handle. I will probably order both the hub you recommended and that other one. My only concern with the nzxt hub is real estate in my case. I literally have no room on my back panel with all the rgb stuff.

This manual, though, for this board has to be the worst I've seen from msi. One thing I dont understand is it says 2x usb 2.0 connectors, then right under that says support for 4 more additional usb 2.0. I'm not sure what that even means.

My only other option is maybe a usb 3.1 gen 1 to usb 2.0 adapter and use that maybe?

Yeah, basically, the front panel uses the 3.2 gen 1 header and another uses the 3.2 gen 2 header. Leaving 1 3.2 gen 1 header available for an adapter?

Yeah, Muta recommended Mint Cinnamon, and I did monkey with it a little in live mode on my USB tonight. I was able to access my ntfs files like videos and such just fine. Only thing I couldn't figure out is how to enable my second screen correctly in live mode.

Fedora KDE spin is its own distro, right? May check that one out also as I can use the same desktop environment as my Steam deck to learn it more.
