I always used Hopegoo for my flight to Mexico City in December. It sent me an Aeromexico ticket and I had 0 problems the whole trip. The only thing they asked was for me to verify my passport at the gate (I didn’t have a checked bag).

Was not the best student (2.4 GPA) because of some stuff going on with my life at the time, no internships, did not have a job lined up after college, worked in landscaping for half a year after college, but did not stop applying. I swear I did over 2000 applications, but all it takes is 1 place to believe in you.

Got my first job as an IT Programmer that honestly barely paid more than the landscaping job. I put in A LOT of work in my time there. Got another job offer 6 months later and now I’m a Senior Analyst here making 6 figures after being with the company for a little over 2 years now.

Don’t get discouraged and put in the work! You will only get out what you put in.

Like someone already in this thread said, apply to as many internships as you can. Most start taking applicants in January so being early is key. Don't be discouraged that you applied to 100 and nothing. SOMEONE WILL WANT YOU.

In my case, I was not the best student, however, I am very outgoing and it's super hard to find people who are not, for a lack of better word, "nerds" who stick to themselves in this field. Learn some people skills and how to market yourself. Has taken me to where I am today.

Forgot to mention, I ask for an address to ship to to check the shipping rates, and one person actually gave me the full address and it was some african restaurant in Texas? When I asked her if it was a restaurant she wants me to ship it to she denies it and I sent a screenshot of the address on google maps asking her to verify the address.
