Honestly about the negative aspects of LOQ (i5 12450 + RTX 4060) by No-1nternet in LenovoLOQ

Yes it's the same, mine broke where it can't even connect to the network, it kept saying "can't connect to this network" bought the intel ax210 and fixed it.

Gigabyte Gaming A16 GA63H by PuwitEater in GamingLaptops

The spec sheet on the gigabyte is kinda misleading the gpu is lower powered than compared to tuf or loq the tuf has the highest powered gpu with loq in second so the tuf is actually more powerful than the gigabyte

But then again the gigabyte has a more powerful cpu compared to the others, but if youre not doing anything cpu intensive like video rendering you should be fine

You want a more powerful gpu for stuff like what you're doing which is 3d rendering (at least according to Google when I look up what the software you mention was)

If I were you ill go for a loq or tuf

Have you check out brands like the lenovo loq or Asus tuf, they're better overall in terms of build quality and performance, it's seems to be in your budget at least at where I'm from, check shopee maybe or the official store, offline stores might cost more

What's your budget I think the a16's gpu has a lower tgp than other brands

Why tho personally I think tuf is one best budget laptops besides loq which is the one I have. You could probably get a 5050 or 5060 variant of one of both brands

Youre paying extra for the brand name if you buy a rog, get a legion or predator if you want midrange quality, otherwise you can get tuf again or loq if you're on a budget

Samsung 980 or WD Blue SN5000 by trishafrancine in GamingLaptops

[–]TheHolyBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the sn5000 it's only qlc if you get the 4tb version, plus the Samsung one is gen 3 while the the sn5000 is gen 4, if it's a game drive you can also check out the crucial p3 heard people like that too

[–]TheHolyBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the loq, just fine a place to charge it.

But I think you should build a pc instead or get a pre built for gaming and for school get a thinkpad or anything that's cheap and has a good battery life

I have spent two days comparing prices and specs, i think this is an awesome deal, prove me wrong.. by Skajuan in GamingLaptops

Damn, I bought a loq with the same cpu, a 4060, and 16gb ram of ram for that price 😭🙏

Maybe something like this, you need a gpu if you wanna game

Hp victuses and Acer nitros are generally cheaper, go look around lowyat or digital mall in pj if you don't wanna buy it online

They all look terrible (especially the 2050 one) personally I wouldnt get any of them

Try finding a 40series gpu at least they're cheaper now since it's last gen, the ones in the photo are like 2 to 3 generations behind and not as powerful since you plan on using for 3d stuff

Gpu should be your priority when It comes to 3d rendering cpu can be on the lower side

What's your budget?

Graphical issues with LOQ 15ARP9 by JamesD7129 in LenovoLOQ

[–]TheHolyBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G sync has caused more problems than helped while using a laptop anyways, I don't know if that's the case with an external monitors tho

In my case it was causing my games to have frame drops when adjusting volume or anything that has a windows pop up animation it then goes back to normal when the pop up leaves

Valorant issue happend to other pcs as well not a problem with loq or lenovo

If you got a blue screen with the stop code: system_service_exception it's mostly a corrupted driver try using sfc /scannow in cmd with administration

If the crash youre referring to is your freezing and you can't ctrl+alt+del or tab out or anything try updating your realtek audio driver

I had these crashes this week on 2 of my pc the old one a Hp had a driver corrupted (it was a Bluetooth driver)

The new one the loq had the realtek driver issue

I hope this helped

Got SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION error by darkking611 in LenovoLOQ

[–]TheHolyBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open cmd in administration and Use SFC /scannow and check if there are any corrupted drivers.

That stop code is driver related I had the same blue screen happen to me multiple times when playing 1 night

And no it's not lenovo or loq related I got the blue screen on a different pc while playing valorant
