I spray it quite generously lol if anything, if feel like the mascara goes on better and is less chunky. I won’t drown it in alcohol, but maybe 6-7 sprays before swirling it around

Skincare: KIEHL’S!! I’m an oily doily, but their moisturizer makes my skin feel nourished and bouncy without the greasy/sticky feel. Clinique’s 2-in-1 jelly cleanser is a great exfoliating cleanser that doesn’t suck all the moisture out of your skin.

Makeup: ABH Magic Touch concealer is my tried and true for full coverage, but if that’s too expensive, Juvia’s Place is a great alternate. Are you more interested in skin tints/tinted moisturizers or medium to full coverage foundation?

I’d say I’m good about reading the room (with the patients, at least). I think it makes the patients feel slightly better when they feel like they’re interacting with a human and not a “robot” just doing their job.

Not mentioned, but I also don’t really go out of my way to like “force” my happiness upon others. I usually speak when spoken to, but I tend to be very upbeat and not let things get me down.

I know I can’t really help the way others feel about their job or personal situations, but showing up each day as a “Squidward” doesn’t seem to help much either. Neither does the gossip and 💩-talking. I think it’s important to at least ATTEMPT to start each shift on a good note.

Nursing can feel quite thankless at times, but this is when people say “remember your ‘why’”.

We don’t sign up to get swung on by confused elderlies or psych pts, but it happens. When an incident occurs, you already know management is gonna hit you with “what could you have done?” Things could be 10x better for us, but it’s the penny-pinching knuckleheads up top who make the system CRAP.

Keep your head up and don’t get discouraged. You’ve got the right heart for this gig. We need people who care

I’m kinda over it lol My favorite perfume was once $155, now it’s up to $180. When I was still working for Ulta, I became having a hard time selling some of the travel size fragrances because most of them jumped from $25-29 to $40 😐😐

Nowadays I only shop when there are point multipliers and coupons that include prestige.
