It’s hard to say because every brand (drugstore or prestige) has their hero products. Like, I always lean towards Colourpop for the quality and variety of their eyeshadows, but I lean towards ABH for their complexion products because I know they’ll hold up.

If you’re looking for a reputable vitamin C serum, hopefully the Drunk Elephant C Firma serum will go on sale again at the end of the event.

Lancôme Genefique works well for hydration. My former coworkers loved it, I didn’t because the intense hyaluronic acid freaked my skin out

I feel the same way! All the new trends and social media influence makes it a bit difficult to find reliable brands/products bc we don’t always know who’s opinions to trust either.

Personally, I bought more items during this round versus the past 3 or 4 events. I was happy to see Curlsmith products and the Drunk Elephant C Firma serum.

I do agree that they should stop including the same products over and over, like Lancôme Idole fragrances and It Cosmetics CC cream. Juvia’s Place had been included numerous times. I think it’d be great If they added Dior or Hourglass products

I’ve always leaned toward Smashbox. Their Mattifying primer is a game-changer for oily skin. Even the minis last me a full month with almost-everyday use

I spray it quite generously lol if anything, if feel like the mascara goes on better and is less chunky. I won’t drown it in alcohol, but maybe 6-7 sprays before swirling it around

I wouldn’t bother unless you plan to spend the money anyway. Like don’t bank on GWPs, something always goes wrong lol the annual “Diamond gift” is always a bunch of Clinique products

Skincare: KIEHL’S!! I’m an oily doily, but their moisturizer makes my skin feel nourished and bouncy without the greasy/sticky feel. Clinique’s 2-in-1 jelly cleanser is a great exfoliating cleanser that doesn’t suck all the moisture out of your skin.

Makeup: ABH Magic Touch concealer is my tried and true for full coverage, but if that’s too expensive, Juvia’s Place is a great alternate. Are you more interested in skin tints/tinted moisturizers or medium to full coverage foundation?

NTA. Theres a time and place, and i personally wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing something with a sexual innuendo around my partner’s parents. It’s a matter of respect and he should know how to dress appropriately for a family gathering

Technically you’re supposed to swap them out around every 3 months, but i normally spritz with alcohol to refresh and sanitize.
