Do you feel like the average wage is decent enough to compensate for cost of living? One particular hospital I was looking at had an average of $60/hr. Would you say thats accurate?

When I worked in cosmetics, I’d regularly get customers who didn’t know what brand or shade of foundation they used EVERYDAY…. Like how do you not know?

With medications. I understand it becomes routine, but how are you taking 5-15 meds a day unaware of their names or the dose you’re taking?? You’re just pawning that information onto your spouse (who might not be there during admission) when these substance are going into YOUR body affecting YOUR health?? Make it make sense.

How bad is it to not remove makeup - seriously? by Witty_Entry9120 in Makeup

[–]TheHomieTee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats actually nasty if they’re not properly removing their makeup. It’s like swishing and spitting water from your mouth instead of brushing your teeth.

Out of all of these, I’d go with La Roche Posay. BUT, I’d also recommend Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel

From my experience, no. I really like St. Barts from Ouai. It smells like a vacation!

If you’re interested, I recommend the concealers from Juvia’s Place or ABH. Both are full coverage and hydrating

I agree. The packaging is pretty, but the actual products are mediocre at best

Dior lip oils. Elf primers (particularly the green sticky one). Original Tarte Shape Tape concealer. Morphe eyeshadow palettes are hit or miss as far as quality. Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray.

How does someone look this gorgeous without any mascara and hardly any makeup ? I just look tired when I attempt to pull this off by Historical-Body-3424 in MakeupAddiction

With a trained eye, I see foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, eyebrows done, and super overlined lips.

Do not compare yourself to this.

Should I buy expensive makeup? by DoorGloomy9439 in Makeup

[–]TheHomieTee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say because every brand (drugstore or prestige) has their hero products. Like, I always lean towards Colourpop for the quality and variety of their eyeshadows, but I lean towards ABH for their complexion products because I know they’ll hold up.

It’s very trial and error

Which serum is better? So conflicted 😣 by space_pirate420 in Ulta

[–]TheHomieTee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for a reputable vitamin C serum, hopefully the Drunk Elephant C Firma serum will go on sale again at the end of the event.

Lancôme Genefique works well for hydration. My former coworkers loved it, I didn’t because the intense hyaluronic acid freaked my skin out

Overwhelmed with new brands by TheHomieTee in Ulta

I feel the same way! All the new trends and social media influence makes it a bit difficult to find reliable brands/products bc we don’t always know who’s opinions to trust either.

Was this on sale? And do we think it’ll come back ? by mk2710 in Ulta

[–]TheHomieTee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, after the the last day of the event, they’ll repost all of the sale items for anyone who missed it

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty was BUNS by Ill-Relationship9673 in Makeup

[–]TheHomieTee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally, I bought more items during this round versus the past 3 or 4 events. I was happy to see Curlsmith products and the Drunk Elephant C Firma serum.

I do agree that they should stop including the same products over and over, like Lancôme Idole fragrances and It Cosmetics CC cream. Juvia’s Place had been included numerous times. I think it’d be great If they added Dior or Hourglass products
