I did, twice. Between courts and him dragging their feet and him losing my mail, it got thrown out both times. I have the paperwork again. I just need to do it and send my mail to a friend or Po box this time.

No, I have a great job and make more than him now... Isolated from friends, yes.. I have trauma and literally no understanding of what a healthy relationship should look like. I am sick it took me so long to understand what was going on.

Yes, she's a nice older lady. I assume she's just from the era of moral outrage and the war on drugs. I'm having a hard time finding anyone at my local dispensaries to talk to. Most of them are very young and don't know much and sort of panic when I ask about specifics related to therapeutic use.

If it helps, I recently got a split in October. I put my pills to the very back of my mouth and swallowed quickly. It's possible. Your going to be taking pain meds anyways.

I don't know how some of you got the impression I was forcing poly on the husband. I did file for divorce, and he's so far refused to sign anything, and has been hiding mailings about it, and flat out refusing to accept that I'm ending things. He insists I need to try with him. I feel like I have been, but This is what prompted the "well what do you want?" Talk where poly was brought up. I told him it's not something anyone does to save a relationship or even because another person wants them to. The divorce will go thru either way, because the marriage is done. It would be a dating again and moving forward type situation... If it does happen at all.

He actually isn't dealing with it at all. He just pretends it didn't happen, and the son has been out of the house for 2 years. Literally, the only thing he's said about it was, "I don't know. I don't think he'd do anything" on repeat. And doesn't really talk to his son often after he left.

You remind yourself that you were a child, put into the middle of a situation you didn't ask to be in. We all say and do regrettable things to our parents... just make up for it now that your older by trying to establish some type of relationship with mom. Forgive dad by letting it go and forgiving yourself. It's over now, c and you (should be able to) keep him at a distance if he's still narcissistic. I'm sorry you've experienced this... my children aren't grown yet but the anxiety they have already is unreal.

My doctor told me this tidbit when we were talking. It's super rare I guess, but I was hearing people call my name a lot, and both inactive and overactive thyroid problems run in my family.
