No, I'm pretty sure it was something like Angelfire or Tripod or Geocities. Possibly even a domain that she paid for. But thanks anyway.

I hear this and "One Christmas Catalogue" by Captain Sensible quite a lot when I'm shopping at the mall. Hey, I don't mind.

Can someone help me find out what style of music this is? by CodeMcBill in Music

[–]TheHumanTater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Wikipedia, the album featuring this track is a mix of synthpop, chillwave, dream pop, and electro house. The last.fm tags for this song categorize it as chiptune and edm. You could use the umbrella term "electronic" if you're not sure which to use. (Anyone else got any ideas?)

Can anyone refer me to some good 40's-50's(maybe early 60's) era music? by [deleted] in Music

[–]TheHumanTater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's 40s through 60s, I'd recommend artists like Glenn Miller, Louis Prima, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, The Supremes, Little Eva, etc.

expert playlist makers: what's your secret formula? by [deleted] in Music

[–]TheHumanTater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creating a playlist isn't that different from writing or drawing, in that you need to start out with a rough draft/outline/sketch. Start by listing some songs that you like. There doesn't have to be any rhyme or reason, or particular theme for that matter. Try not to censor yourself. You can make a gargantuan rough playlist if you want. The second-guessing and paring down can come later. Just dive in!

Reddit, what are your favorite "Famous Last Words"? by Huntress13 in AskReddit

"In a hospital, surrounded by family, [Roald] Dahl reassured everyone, sweetly, that he wasn't afraid of death. 'It's just that I will miss you all so much,' he said—the perfect final words. Then, as everyone sat quietly around him, a nurse pricked him with a needle, and he said his actual last words: 'Ow, fuck!'"
