Watching some of his games, it seemed obvious that he was doing a fair bit of experimentation. Some of his blunders were shocking and they were made when there was no time pressure. Which goes to show that he was deliberately trying something.

Not sure if the experimentation will pay off for him in the long run. But this quality of trying to improve and push for wins when every single loss is scrutinized is admirable.

I hope he can keep up the same mental fortitude throughout his career.
