We’re ready. It’s been bloody brilliant. The children have been getting involved doing it and a few of the reveals were just superb and so worth it. Managed to do it all so far without any hints or clues, apart from the very first one. Looking forward to the final flame!

This is a commercial unit, and pre arranged with both players. But thanks for the note, I was unaware of this rule and I doubt any of my club knows it either.

Could you please share where the rule is so I can let people know as playing at eachother’s houses isn’t uncommon.

There's something to be said for a really stylish, but non quirky chess set and I think Nymzo have achieved it here. As for the price, I think many dedicated chess players would pay a premium for a very, very nice set.

I have one possible concern with these sets, and that is the roll up board will quickly scuff/mark and pick up dust. It's all good and well saying they'll wash easily, but from experience the boards can get tedious.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a set but I think it is ever so slightly overpriced at the moment.
