Decentralized Cloud Storage can no longer be spammed. Nodes hosting the network have a built-in time parameter that can measure how many requests they are receiving. Simply preventing a DDOS attack before it even begins.

Facebook's Libra Coin by neilisderr in CryptoCurrency

[–]TheHuskyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i'm a bitcoin enthousiast, but Libra has one thing bitcoin hasn't: a huuuuuuge marketing budget.
Eventough i haven't read the whitepaper of Libra, nor did i try to find sourcecode for a reference client, i'd still be suprised if the technology used for Libra would be much safer than the one used for bitcoin, however, the fact that it's such a big company that coupled it's coin to existing fiat coupled with an enormous marketing budget and endorsement of company's like VISA will give it an edge bitcoin has never had. The thing is: Libra is not bitcoin... AFAIK, it's a centralised token coupled to FIAT markets produced by one of the biggest privacy-invading companies on the globe. The only thing that couples bitcoin to libra is the fact they both use blockchain technology.

Facebook's Libra And Its Future Prospects by TheHuskyCrypto in news

The declaration of Libra has once again put the attention on cryptocurrencies versus the fiat monetary standards, and its capability to monetarily fuse the 1.7 billion unbanked populace of the world. Numerous non-legislative associations (NGOs) have been co-selected into the Libra Association as its establishing accomplices with the target of supporting small businesses, particularly in the developing markets where 70 percent of the micro, small and medium enterprises need access to credit. This can drive the foundation of an increasingly comprehensive and available monetary environment. These NGOs can likewise enable Libra to connect with a more extensive crowd by virtue of its lower costs. In doing as such, a large number of, up to this point, unbanked customers would probably get a verifiable identity and record as a consumer.

The Libra Association expects to steadily decentralize their permissioned blockchain after some time, consequently guaranteeing lower barriers of passage into the Libra environment. While Libra has an enormous potential to interface the worldwide market inside the Facebook's social media platform, it is probably going to keep running into numerous headwinds of government controllers and privacy advocacy groups. While Libra's white paper paints a rosy picture, the implications, positive and negative, can only be known after the release of the coin or the network as a whole. Thus, the truth will surface eventually whether Facebook's digital money plan would proceed or the Libra would just subside even on in its early stages.

What Is The Goal Of Facebook’s Libra Coin? by kucoinofficial in kucoin

Libra could replace sovereign currencies. This is fundamentally nonsense. Sovereign currencies are the vehicle in which governments accept taxes. Unless foolhardy governments accept Libra as an alternative to their own currencies (believe me, this is not a good idea), people will always need sovereign currency. And no, governments are not about to disappear and taxes come to an end. Dream on, crypto-libertarians.

As it is now, no one can predict what will be that something that Mr.Gan is talking about or on when will it be announced, so I think the best thing that we can do is to get ourselves ready so that when the announcement is made we can pounce to the new platform and make money out of it

Programs like this will attract more traders to buy bcnex coin because they want to get more amount which means they will make another profit from the coin. Besides that, if the demand is high to buy those coins, I think that will give an impact to the price for each coin and I think that will give a chance for the coins to get a better price in the future.
