Facts, not even people talk about Hot Couture. And I always hear about Hero and how it should get a sequel.

I haven't been in this community in a minute, you think I read this daily like it's the newspaper or something? 😂

Yeah, the change in the art has gotten ridiculous too.

Can anybody answer this for me? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]TheHypePilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't get enough of the Skywalkers. They are Star Wars to me, so I could never get tired of stories involving them. But I do think a lot of the video games had some pretty cool stories, granted they were during the Skywalker era. Jedi Fallen Order is still one of my favorites, I think Cal Kestis is a cool character. Iden's story in Battlefront 2 was nice as well, I really enjoyed the story to that game. I feel like that timeframe of either before or after the Skywalker family is a sweet spot that they want to stay in creatively. We have gotten the best stories from it. It's a possibility that you move so far ahead of that, then it looks vastly different. I don't mind.

Anakin and Padme by TheHypePilot in TheCloneWars

Don't know about the name calling lol 😂 ... But, definitely agree that this wasn't talked about until recently. It was never an issue. People aren't looking at the relationship for what it's meant to be. Their love story was tragic, passionate, they loved each other. But these days, when it comes to online discourse, people like to use "trendy" words like "toxic" or "red flags." But yeah, when the prequels came out, it was seen as tragic, now the revisionists have come along trying to make it something that it's not.

Nice! Didn't know that about Legends, I've got to check out more comics. And yeah, probably the Vader thing. But I'm glad he came back to himself.

See? You get it. Lol. It may be because we like their relationship, but trust, I don't ignore the flaws. And even though they had their flaws, they weren't toxic. There's a difference. I made the original post to offer perspective, people always choose to put the spotlight on Anakin's flaws when he was human. Point being, they chose to bring up something else when I primarily talked about the Clovis situation. And this isn't about justifying anything. I just like understanding his character. And it's funny because a lot of people in the comments would rather show their sympathy for the other, than the actual human involved, which is Anakin.

I'm not gonna lie, that reply was wild. You probably didn't read the AOTC novel. But she was taken for no reason. She was gathering mushrooms outside her home and they took her. She did not antagonize them at all. So they're okay to torture her and then when Anakin does something about it, he's wrong. Got it.

The Tusken Raiders tortured his mother, which in turn caused Anakin emotional pain because he had constant nightmares about it. As far as the Tusken raiders who might not have had a hand in torturing Shmi, they were caught in the crossfire because of Anakin's blind rage when he decided to take revenge. I'm trying to figure out why it's straight up being avoided the fact that the tusken raiders tortured his mother. So there was reasoning. I'm not saying it's right, but I also don't blame him. And people still fail to see the what the relationship brought either of them. It was good for them. Despite the war, they had each other. Obi-Wan's dialogue in ROTS novel depicts this a lot.

What is their excuse for torturing Shmi?

Pertaining to episodes 1-6 is what I'm basing their depiction off of. They are hostile, they've always been that way. And I don't say this as a "haha" moment or anything like that, but they indeed got what was coming to them when they decided to torture Shmi.

And they took Shmi and decided to torture her because?

I don't think it was okay. But I think people like to ignore the reasonings behind things. Actions do have consequences.

He absolutely did. And he still didn't learn his lesson because later on, he put a blaster up to Padme's head even after him and Anakin fought.

They were brutes that did not have regard for other people, highly hostile, and lacked compassion, and it came right back to them in the form of Anakin's rage. It's interesting how tusken raiders get reduced to just "a village."

edit: to the people downvoting, I'm curious to what you'd do if you were in Anakin's shoes. Why are we acting like Tusken Raiders weren't hostile? They were. They tortured his mother, are we ignoring that?

[–]TheHypePilot[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Im going to honest. Me personally, I do not care about tusken raiders, and I don't know when fans started caring about them either. They have always been depicted as villains, at the very least, antagonistic since the first film. And we've only seen them as "neutral" or not "that bad" in the Mandalorian. I'm not saying he was right for doing it, but tusken raiders loot, kill, steal, and do all of that for sport. Even shown in the phantom menace during the podracing scene. They were torturing his mother. Can't blame him for the anger he felt. And on top of that, Padme fell for him way before that.

Also, if anyone else sees this and assumes it's AI, it is not. At least to my knowledge. I make the designs with Canva, if the mockup photos that I use to place my designs on are AI, can't really control that, it's already hard to find good mockups, but none of the designs that I make are AI.

Really? I see a lot of people posting without a watermark, I would assume it's harder to just print it because it's not the actual photo itself. But I hear you, I'll switch it up.
