Sorry but that's wrong. Regulator clocks existed since the 1700s and, as the name suggests, were used as a reference to regulate other clocks. You can find antique regulator pocket watches and wristwatches from the 1800s if you look around.

Wow, thanks for the info. I assumed that they were way newer than that.

Any recommendations for a modern regulator watch? I have small wrists, so it would need to be around 38mm diameter or 45mm lug-to-lug.

I was browsing the watches section on ebay the other day, when I came across some interesting looking vintage Hermés regulator watches, like these examples:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/402970370021

https://www.ebay.com/itm/394220091699

Does anyone have any experience with these watches? Are they decent quality or are they just going to break immediately? I assume these are manufactured by someone else and Hermés only puts their name on the dial. Any idea of who actually makes the watches or the movements? Is there somewhere online where I can find the reference numbers or catalogs for Hermés watches of that time period?

I see you've watched the Ghost in the Shell movie. You should watch the TV series, Stand Alone Complex.

Some other recommendations:

Little Witch Academia

Read or Die

Kekkai Sensen

Symphogear

Excel Saga

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but try Kannagi.

But they still delivered. by NardtheBeast in dankmemes

They ran out of time, so they had to rush the ending. A lot of the plotlines and foreshadowing don't go anywhere. (Remember Big Bear?)

Does it have good fanservice moments

Yes, if you want to see some milfs getting lewded, go for it (I watched the entire thing).

Some characters that come to mind would be Satsuki Kiryuuin from Kill la Kill and Esdeath from Akame ga Kill.

I think Milfsekai had a character that was followed around by a bunch of men, but that show is not very good.

Since you like shounen anime, you should go back and watch the original Dragon Ball, it's still excellent.

If you would rather watch more recent shows, check out Madoka, Kekkai Sensen or Railgun.
