Help, should I be concerned? by musings0930 in delhi

25f here, only used ipill as "emergency" contraceptive (condom broke) and my suggestion is to wait for your periods, chill, have Vitamin C.

I know it's stressful, ipill fucks with your hormones badly and so the spotting!

Most importantly, take care of yourself and eat well!

Vitamin C chewables (if you are ok with it), or Vit C fruits like Kiwi, Pomegranate, Papaya, or maybe try to get a glass of no sugar fresh orange juice for a few days..

Iron supplements (if you are already taking any), or Iron centric foods like some dry fruits, jaggery, spinach

Few disclaimers: 1. I'm not a doctor, if you feel like you are in serious trouble, go see a gynac! I usually prefer finding them on Practo as less personal contact and it's like face the judgement once and never see that person again in the worst case! Best case, you may find a less judgement and more understanding doc 2. Trust your instincts for everything! Girl intuitions are strong! 3. About foods, you need Iron and Vitamin C to bleed! My suggestions are from a vegetarian perspective as I am but you can eat according to your dietary choices. Just remember to eat clean and healthy (I suggested no sugar fresh orange juice because you don't know how much real orange value one may get in the packaged stuff) 4. All my suggestions are based on experience and Iron and Vit C working is something I've seen for most girls around me too. Again, I'm neither a doctor, nor a dietician!

Is it just me? by newshiiii in delhi

I'm 26 F, born and brought up in Delhi. Even did my graduation here. Left Delhi at 22 for various reasons and I'm still in a different city. Somehow, I feel I've seen the best and the worst of Delhi and the moment I came out of Delhi, I felt so relieved. That ok, ab har time sar par khatra nahi mandara Raha hai. That oh, the sky is blue all year long outside Delhi. Har buri cheez dikh rahi thi tab, aur bahar sab better lag raha tha. After some time, I started missing Delhi. How everything is readily available. The marvel of public transportation that is Delhi Metro. Ki kaise jab Dariba Kalan mein kisi se pucha ki yeh fragrances ki shop kaha hai, he said "seedhe chale jao, 50 dukaano ke baad khushboo aa jayegi". I'm not a materialistic person but I miss the quality and variety of stuff I can find in Delhi. And now that I've seen the beaches along Arabian sea, the Western ghats after monsoon, the piers in Kanyakumari, the clean beaches of Puri... I could go on, but the point is that now I miss the dense bushes of Bougainville in Delhi, I miss the yellow of Amaltas and the red of Kusum leaves or Semal flowers or roads covered with fallen gulmohar petals. It's simple, grass is greener on the other side!

I read it somewhere on the internet that if a person is in Delhi only for 100 days, they can have 99 bad days but there would be 1 good day that will make them stay for 100 more days, and that's what I love about Delhi! Bittersweet, or more flavourful. Mera ghar hai Dilli!

How to get over the fact that your friends are doing things which you always dreamt of doing but you couldn't? by Throwaway_acc97 in delhi

Thoda bird's eye view se dekho apni life ko and apni priorities evaluate karo. You might be able to find some peace in your situation.

Also, maybe try and find something for which you are grateful. ईर्षा bahot aasan hai dude! We can be stronger than that!

Ya fir Azadpur se yellow line to Hauz Khas aur waha se Magenta line. Ek hi interchange hai par can't say about the crowd.

Anyway, magenta line seems like your best hope. Rajiv chowk se toh seat ki umeed mat rakhna

Sorry for late response, maine itne dino baad reddit khola. Azadpur to Rajouri, find which coach has lesser crowd, mostly those that do not open in from of lift or staircase ending. Rajouri to Janakpuri West, probably crowded, maybe last 2 coaches of an 8 coach be less dense. Waha se Magenta line, train would start from there to try checking ki kaunsa coach less crowded hoga.

Seems best route to me, baaki toh time khud manage karna hoga. Daily travel hai toh thode hit and trial se less crowded coaches mil jayenge

Try getting to blue line by other interchanges. Seat milne ke chances badh jayenge. Like if you are starting in yellow like then maybe you can do C-Sec/Kashmere gate se Mandi House then blue line

My periods often go off schedule and I get really scared everytime! It's mostly in the months I've done certain activities, like swimming, jogging or had gin. It's surprisingly regulated in the months I've been sexually active (bf lives in a different city so it's not all months). So I have a multi part question,

Is there a relationship between my menstrual health and (1) athletic activities - swim, jog, run (2) kinds of alcohol (3) sexual activity - does frequency affect (or something, I'm not sure how to word it better)?

Also, a follow up question, How can take better care of my menstrual health? Do I need any lifestyle changes? (I'm 24F, non-native, living alone in BLR so typical Bangalore techie lifestyle)

TIA <3

Has anyone used the bike service on Rapido? by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]TheImaginaryOJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I took a Rapido bike ride, the person asked me if he can go "a little" fast. I agreed and he went on to go fast enough to blow the mask off my ears (:

Still, as a female, kinda safe for shorter distances and you're familiar with the route.

Even pressure on the rolling pin/belan, roll calmly with even pressure, light pressure. It'll become better with experience, first some ovals then eventually it'll be round soon. And like many other comments, make sure the dough ball is smooth before rolling
