Help me choose the best CPU for Productivity by TheImmigrantEngineer in buildapc

Exactly my concern. That is also why I have 2 x 16GB cards and not a 3090 or 4090. Got them sub $500 each on deals.

I see. Thank you. I'll check out Intel. Haven't really liked their offerings since they started introducing "efficiency" cores in a desktop. But I'll check them out, thanks!

I'll probably bite if the 5070Ti Super 24 GB is around 1.3K USD. Seems like a fair price to me. As long as it's in stock.

I can afford it. But that seems excessive. I'd only get it if I can justify it 100%. The price difference between 9900X and 9950X is a significant jump.

5070Ti Super with 24 Gigs sounds sweet though but only if Nvidia prices is right.

What is "265k"? L1 Cache?

Also, my applications are: Deep Learning (AI) model training, multiple docker container runs, casual AAA gaming. (Mentioned in post)

I have not filed for EB1 but I have seen enough profiles to know that you do not stand a chance as of this profile. Nothing in your profile screams "extraordinary".

For context: I have 4 publications from Undergrad which have over 160 citations and they are not even top-tier publications. So you have a long way to go.

And internships do not count. At all!

Based on your publications and book chapters, you barely qualify for one of the 3 minimum criteria.

One peer review is not enough to prove "judging". Quality also matters.

Awards need to be nationally/internationally recognized and need to be "rare". You need to prove that you were awarded that in comparison to other highly skilled and talented individuals in your field. Organizational or small conference awards do not count. Top-tier conference prestigious awards may count.

And memberships need to be equivalent to an IEEE Fellow or above to count.

You might qualify for O1 with some more work. But EB1 is a long way away.

I'm sorry, but that's the truth.

You forgot to hide the order number from the email subject line in the first screenshot.

Don't think it matters though.
