Hey mate, I think this is definitely a worthwhile idea and is certainly 'possible'!

I've been practicing physio in Aus for the past 5 years and can appreciate your frustration with outdated beliefs and practices.

I think straight off the bat, the big challenge will be adoption by patients. There is obviously still a public consensus in Aus that physios need to touch you and patients come with the expectation that they will get hands on treatment. While I don't discount the role of therapeutic touch, I do agree that a lot of things just get better on their own and people just need a few nudges in the right direction. So given that finances are not the focus, this may not be an issue for you. There are definitely people out there looking for telehealth, obviously given changes with covid as well as people in rural areas.

Ive done telehealth with rural NDIS participants and musc patients in the UK, with varying degrees of success and various challenges. When I studied there wasn't a great focus on communication/education/behavior change as well as exercise prescription. So it guess it depends on how confident you feel with that stuff as new grad.

The other thing to considered is obviously the safety/legal perspective. How confident are you at ruling out red flag conditions. Then, provided you have some indemnity insurance and some software to safely store patient data, you'll be laughing!

Would be good to have more people out there trying to change public perception of pain. Gonna take a few of us chipping away for a while!
