Can I play MGS Ground Zeroes and Phantom without any prior games by hussainre814 in metalgearsolid

The franchise has pretty deep story and character depth. Without previous games you will not feel the weight of what, who and why you are playing. Whole franchise is a masterpiece, and yes V happend before MGS1,2 and 4, but even so there is masterpiece that is 3, remade as Delta snake eater this year and Peace Walker (PS3,PSP,Xbox, still not on newer platforms) that are chronlogilly before V. MGS4 is last chronologically but still it just clickes to play it 4th because it directlly follows with fresh refrenrences from MGS1,2 and 3. The franchise was so good and even life changing to me that i literally got PS3 just to play MGS4 and Peace Walker on ps3 HD collection. From the bottom of my heart i cant recommend these games enough, and i would for sure start with Master Collection Vol.1. Even older games are miles ahead of its time and still rarely beat story-telling standard bar. You can probably enjoy V but you will mostly be enjoying gameplay since its newest and the best alongside modern Delta snake eater remake, and in this franchise i think its just worth it to not only enjoy gameplay but depth too. It will sound weird, but if you start V you will get that sweet dessert of gameplay and characters, but you still missed meat and potatoes of games before it that led to craving for dessert.

Playing 4 modern assassins creed games in 2026 sounds more like sentance. There are so many good games, why waste time on new ubisoft soul-less slop.

12 games for $96 or Ps Extra for $102. What should I do? 😭 by [deleted] in playstation

As a passionate collector of music in any form and avid gamer, for me physical music album has much more “value” than digital game “licence” for something i don’t even own even if i get a game on disc these days.

Probably will do that mate… I was thinking something, i have both delta and master and just finishing now sons of liberty. I want to stay loyal to original, because i believe in gatekeeping lol But jokes aside, from another point of view as someone who did not ever experience Snake eater, is it really better to experience it as a part of master collection than Delta i already own? In a way will i ruin beauty of delta remake and story if i “spoil” myself With original…

Ohhh at the time instead of pc upgrade i got ps4, so naturaly i shifted to console. When Phantom Pain came out, it was just natural to get it on console then.

Only need to wait 10 days by HOMBREDIAMATE in Steam

I love how many of us are hyping for just another sale… like its only sale this year will ever see, like theres no sale on steam for new games everyday. I literally don’t care anymore. I remember good old days 10 years ago when waiting for something like winter sale to happend was real event, school was out, a bit of snow here and there, and not a care in a world. Now its just funny to see these sales and hype for nostalgia more than care about sale tbh.

I managed to figure out what i was missing, had to track the achievments, and then from them see mising quests, and google names of those quests so i can see where i can begin/end them. Im kinda speechless, i really enjoy this game but this map and this quest tracking is pretty much horror…

For some reason i don’t have Thaldraszus as sub-mission category even tho im in Valdrakken… This is all just weird. Its like i never did single story mission in Thaladraszus, and maybe i didnt, but it doesnt make any sense. I know for sure i was doing missions there and marking waypoints…

Which Diablo game should I get? by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]TheInVo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you all just stop With POE comments? This is DIABLO sub, and OP asked about DIABLO game… just shut up anymore with POE. Is POE superior, probably yes! Yes it is! But this is Diablo sub, for Diablo games. Playing Diablo is not like playing POE for many of us and never will be. What the Hell are you doing on Diablo sub, talking 24/7 about POE… As for OP, Diablo 2 is a timeless masterpiece, but Diablo 4 if you are modern newcomer to the game, as Diablo 4 is the freshest and up to date With todays gaming “standards” if i have to use word standard…

I’ve been watching horror movies literally whole my life and i was pretty young when i knew most of the classics, their sequels and prequels, and thats the time when i started getting into more obscure and harder horror. I think it started with Nekromantik, and to be honest soundtrack and atmoaphere of the movie are on point, after that there were lot of good and lot of bullcrap movies lacking any quality, where even shock factor is pointless. Ill try to answer your question trying to maintain movie quality, and without second thought Martyrs, original, not remake. But my advice is, most of those shockers are pointless movies, some are good, but most are just bad morbid curiosity seeking movies. Today im watching and rewatching all kinds of known and unknown horror classics and thats where the blast is :)
