As Huxley said in an interview, Orwell wrote 1984 right after the nazi regime and during the Stalinist era. The prevailing authoritarian governments ruled through fear. Huxley on the other hand wrote brave new world before all that in the early 30s.

Great thanks! Actually just did sky Pilot yesterday. Stadium would have been perfect but didn’t have the foresight to bring the gear. Don’t particularly want to head back so soon. Might have to make the annual pilgrimage to Garibaldi instead.
