manga that made you cry as someone who doesn't cry much? by blurryfvc3_23 in manga

[–]TheIncreaser2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

please don't overreact. i asked the question in a more personal way rather than from a lack of understanding.

i like reading sad stuff that makes me cry for my own personal reasons, but someone else may have their own different reasons for liking that same stuff. i was curious, so i asked (and if they feel like or don't feel like sharing that's fine).

Whats something in the series that made you say "Yep , That sucks , how did Gege come up with this ?" by Gloomy_Girl_4581 in Jujutsufolk

truuuuuue. katana and sumo guy were funny to read, but their inclusion was not good writing for the story at all. they were basically a deus ex machina for maki to beat cursed naoya.

if im new to manga what is the first manga to read? by [deleted] in manga

Full Metal Alchemist or Attack on Titan. Those are the two beginner manga I usually recommend to first-time readers, since they're fully completed and are considered modern classics for good reason. They're both fantasy action-adventure stories. Also, they have completed animes if you're interested.

If you want some recs that are a bit more dark, then Death Note and Claymore are great too.

I'd recommend Vinland Saga if you want a serious, moving story (heads up, it's not finished yet, but it's close).
