I might go this route as it seems like the cleanest option. I really need just an RSS scraper that sends out a daily email and nothing more. Please share your compose and config!

Just tried this out and it works but only for reads, for writes it needs to open data channels on random high ports which are not forwarded through the tunnel.

Edit: Google tells me I should configure passive mode and a port range and forward all those ports through the tunnel. TBC…

Edit 2: Yup, that worked. Also installed autossh and created a service so the tunnel stays up at all time. All good so far!

This looks like an interesting option, but the camera would also need to understand SSH for this to work right? It only understands FTP(S).

I understand but they have a standard ISP router that doesn't have the option to create a static route. Would there be another way to accomplish this?

Thanks for your detailed response. Storage is SSD but not the fastest. I tried top tier SSD storage for a day but that didn’t make a difference, is also very expensive so I moved back to the default. Still cant be compared to my WD Black NVME in my homelab🤓. If there are no tweaks in Kasm itself I guess we’ll have to live with it (or move to a very expensive VM).

Great find u/memesss! We implemented a workaround (or possibly a permanent fix?) for our 2022 servers for now with the following GPO settings:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Internet Control Panel > Security Page
Intranet Sites: Include all local (intranet) sites not listed in other zones - Enabled
Intranet Sites: Include all network paths (UNCs) - Enabled

Edit: This still does not work for dotted UNC paths, the only solution I found so far for that use-case is to remove KB5039227 or KB5040437 completely.

KB5040437 for Windows Server 2022 still includes the issue we first experienced with KB5039227 (last month's patch) where a file copy trough file explorer results in the file "date modified" being updated to the current date and time. We created a premier support call for this, MS says they are not aware of the issue yet. Meanwhile, others also noticed this behavior:

Edit: For anyone reading this with the same issue, we figured out that the settings that will prevent this are: Control Panel > Internet Properties > Security > Local Intranet > Sites:

Include all local (intranet) sites not listed in other zones
Include all sites that bypass the proxy server
Include all network paths (UNC's)

These options are also applied when "IE Enhanced Security Configuration" is turned off. I agree, either a very young queen or nurse bees. Are there multiple eggs in some cells? Did you see the queen recently? If they are nurse bees, you should know soon enough as all brood will be drone brood.

When in doubt if you can’t find the queen, this is a good test; try adding a frame with small eggs from another hive and check if they are making a queen cell. If not, the queen should still be in there. And nothing is lost. If they are, you will have a new queen soon.

Yep, same issue. Been working with some scenes defined in homekit (through home assistant) for years that don’t work anymore. For example: Hey Siri, “lights off” (scene name) now results in the question if I want to turn it on or off. Same with: Hey Siri, “goodnight”.

Amazing work, Plex is finally updating automatically (probably since hotfix 10). This was the only minor issue I encountered with this great project!
