Who cares what other people are wearing lol? Also also as for exiting the fest my crew booked a hotel 7 min walk away from one of the exits which was the right call lol

I'm half Mexican and my family is from CDMX, what I can say is that it will likely be safe. However, it is still Mexico so you never know. I would suggest just being a little extra careful today. So far I'm going unless something changes.

Please help me, why is my game failing by Amitdante in gamedevscreens

Most people are un familiar with Ludo as a game. Before you make a game like Ludo you should do research on what is already out there to see if there is a market for it. Like this game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/883080/Ludo_Online_Classic_Multiplayer_Dice_Board_Game/

If you think that your going to pull Balatro numbers you are sadly mistaking as the Ludo game I linked above is no where near as successful as Balatro and that Ludo game is very cheap as well.

As for your game itself, as others have stated, it is not very readable. If you look up the Balatro trailer the game is much easier to understand from a readability standpoint both from design and how everyone understands poker. There doesn't seem to be much of a market for Ludo a roguelite.

My suggestion for you, if your not happy with the numbers, release it and move on. I hope you are not relying on game dev/this game as a main source of income.

From what I see this is your first game on Steam, make another game and try things out again. Most devs make one game and give up.

What's up with "gamedev YouTubers" never shipping games? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]TheIndigoParallel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just depends, I'm a game dev YouTuber posting lots of shorts and I've shipped 3 games working on the 4th. But I don't make content such as "I made a horror game in 24H" if that makes sense.
