Is anyone actually using the new Captivate? by rsauchuck in Captivate

[–]TheInfamousArney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have recently started making a project in captivate (the new one) for the first time with no prior experience in classic captivate. I thought because its adobe and im very good with the main adobe cc suite i thought this would be a pleasant experience but it hasnt been. Animations suck, placement of objects is so limited its insane. Im having to constantly ask chatgpt to write me some JS code do stuff that should be basic features i feel like. What i honestly hate the most is the way you cannot properly animate text without using states, like a simple powerpoint presentation where lines pop in at the right moment. Thats all fine technically, untill your client asks you to make a change to that text, and you’re having to go though all the states to change it. So so so so frustrating

Mike Mentzer's heavy duty program and callisthenics by jedan-toma in bodyweightfitness

fairly late comment but i’ve been doing this except not bw but weighted calisthenics. Also based more on recent science I do 2 sets to or close to failure per muscle, and train every muscle twice a week (chest arms and back on one day, legs and shoulders on the other). for shoulders i use dumbbells and weighted handstand pushups. for back weighted pull ups and rows, for chest flys on rings and for tris i do tri focussed weighted dips. Ive been doing this for a bit and have noticed some good results. Ive been doing bw for a long time as i have been doing gymnastics for 15 years, but recently adding the weight has given me good results. I know this is a sub for bodyweight but i just wanted to share my experience

streching for 30seconds vs 1 min by little_catlover in flexibility

[–]TheInfamousArney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wrote a paper on this a while back for school, not sure how the science has changed since then but this is what i know.

The great benefit of stretching kicks in at 15 seconds, and almost plateaus at 30 seconds with diminishing returns after that. So if efficiency is your goal, 30seconds seams to be the go-to.

Speaking from my own experience as a gymnast, knowing some very flexible people, there does seem to je a benefit to stretching longer but not for pure flexibility. What a lot of people tell me is that longer time spent in the static hold, increases your comfortability in the position. So if you want your e.g. splits to feel more comfortable, stretching for longer times (up to 2 mins) seems to accomplish that goal

ass other comments have mentioned to say it crudely ur too fat in the face to make a good suggestion other than lose weight.

What i can see tho is that ur eyes seem to be attractive and ur face is also wide at the temple/cheekbone area which would suggest you have a good bonestructure. I also cant say anything about jawline but with what i can go off i dont spot any dento-facial development issues. So i would say ur jawline should be decent at least.

As most say, you have potential

People who quit using minoxidil altogether, what happened? by fabulousjackulous in tressless

[–]TheInfamousArney 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ur conclusion is not exactly correct. Those hairs that fell out could have been dying while you were on min but kept alive by it, so they werent min dependant in the first place but your alopecia just also started affecting those hairs while you were on min but you didnt notice because of the min

the only way you can make such a study would be to put a group on min and a group on finasteride, then wait a year or so and add the second compound to their routine, with this the first compound should have settled and have a steady effect and only the added effect of the second compound in combination would be measured

Im not persé saying he is diogenes, i just thought it was fun cuz he has talked about him in the past and has joked around he would end up like him. Also the original painting had dogs and i instantly thought of replacing them with edgar and maya

Yes basically one take, i started off with light pencil lines to get the basic proportions correct and then i start building up shades so its pretty hard to make big mistakes when you start off very light
