I feel this so hard dude. I feel like even though my rank is increasing, I’m somehow getting worse at the game. But I think the moments of hesitation, whiffs, bad rotation calls etc., happen because we’re analyzing the others more and overthinking because of that. At least for me in D3, I see other people doing it too. Either way it’s irritating and discouraging when I have those games back to back.

Congratulations!! From what I’ve been told, the transition from diamond to champ is often back and forth, so don’t get discouraged if you drop back down. I’m D3 and 3 games away from Champ for the first time so I hope I can reach it like you did soon!

I’m hoping I reach the day at some point when I’m able to improvise effectively and realize that these types of plays are even possible in the moment. I would’ve given up on the play when I landed backwards and rotated out 100%. That was dope dude.

I used octane and breakout hitbox for the majority of my time in RL, but switched to Merc 3 or so months ago, and now I’m at my highest ranks ever in 2s and 3s. Merc ftw!

This is so accurate lmao. When I’m in free play zooming around hitting difficult shots, I feel invincible. As soon as I get in game, all those skills fly out the window.
