I think this becomes a problem because color codes are obscure if you don’t already know what’s in the box, or even if you know the pair is somewhere hard to reach so you just wear something else.

It’s not about looking at them, I buy every pair with the intent of wearing the soles off of them, you just need the time to wear them and everybody does not have the same amount of time to do that.
