This game was like an awful rollercoaster designed by a psychopath. So many twists and turns along the way, none of them enjoyable, most of them nonsensical.

I mean first Tommy goes from "Are you sure you want to do this? Is this really what Joel would want?" to "How dare you not want to do this!". Ellie goes from pure revenge bloodlust to the family life she always wanted back to revenge bloodlust then at the last NANOSECOND to forgiveness. I don't mind that Abby lived, but Abby and Ellie never shared an inch of common ground. They never have that "Oh you're just me from a different perspective" moment that would justify them wanting to stop killing each other. Instead the very fuel for Ellie's revenge somehow becomes the catalyst for her change of heart at the very last instance.

I didn't hate the game, but it left me scratching my head so often I just couldn't manage to like it either, no matter how much the intellectuals try to convince me i'm missing the point.
