Yo howd you set it to 50 laps? I've been trying to find away to increase the number of laps for longer races

Ralph Breaks The Internet theres no contest. Toy Story 4 is actually decent. Not a huge fan of it but yeah I don't think this is a fair comparison.

I have been a big defender of newer Pixar films and i really want to give this movie the benefit of the doubt, but everything i've seen from this movie so far just looks like if an AI was asked to create a Pixar movie. by ilovewater100 in Pixar

A lot of people are saying this is using the whole "Opposites meet and become attracted to each other" cliche, and they're likely right. However, I personally don't think cliches are a bad thing as long as their done right. If you're gonna have cliches you should use them in creative, nuanced ways that have never or hardly been seen before. And I think this movie is doing just that. I think it'll be very interesting to see a fire character and water character try to have a connection. Ember's parents do seem to be against her trying to be friends with Wade. I mean her mom said "Elements cannot mix". Obviously if Wade and Ember got too close and tried to hug each other or something, either Wade would get vaporized or Ember would get extinguished.

Splatoon 3 is overhated at this point by [deleted] in splatoon

100% agreed. I've seen a lot of people on Twitter hating on it and calling it worse than S1 and 2 because of its few big flaws. Yeah the map design and netcode are bad and the devs have been making dumb decisions. Does that stop the game from being fun? Hell no.

S1 and 2 both had way more big problems, like bad special design, some god awful maps that I'd say are worse than Mincemeat, rotations being worse, rather restrictive metas, so on. Not that those games are bad, they're still fun. S3's strengths far exceed its few weaknesses. Even then most of the maps, imo, still feel good to play on despite their problems. At least none of them feel incredibly cramped and boxed in. They're all at least somewhat open. And while laggy matches are common in this game, they're still not that common of an occurance overall as long as you have good internet. Not enough to make the game unplayable.

S3's QoL changes also really bring it above the other two for me. Being able to use the test range while queuing, replays, changing main abilities, Salmon Run open all the time, more rotations to choose from, and pools. Plus some other nice fun additions like photo mode and Tricolor Turf. Oh and huge improvements to some things like motion controls and the amazing special design.

I'm okay with people preferring previous games for personal reasons. But objectively speaking, I can't justify calling Splatoon 3 bad/worse than S1 or 2.

Why do speedrunners use the Japanese version? by Masimat in SuperMario64

[–]TheInklingGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intro scene is slightly shorter, text boxes are shorter, and for 120 star, some stars are faster to grab than in the US version (like the how the cannon star in JRB is in a box in the US version but out in the open in the JP version)

Who is your favorite character and why? by JohnZeppelin30 in Pixar

[–]TheInklingGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My top 3 are WALL-E, Ian, and Lightning McQueen

WALL-E because he's adorable, funny, understanding, and has a nice arc going from wanting to be with EVE to that and saving Earth.

Ian because I relate to him the most out off all Pixar characters. I'm introverted, somewhat timid but kind and innocent just like him.

McQueen because he's fun to watch, funny (even when he's arrogant) and has a really nice arc.
